Buddhist monks, accompanied by their loyal dog Aloka, are steadily walking across America on a 2,300-mile journey to spread peace and compassion. Despite winter storms and challenging conditions in North Carolina, they remain committed to their mission as they prepare to enter Virginia.
The journey began in Fort Worth, Texas, long before large crowds and millions of social media followers gathered to support them. From the start, their goal has been simple but profound: to inspire unity, mindfulness, and kindness in communities across the country.
Along the way, the monks have encountered hardships, made meaningful connections, and shared countless stories that deepen the impact of their walk. At a time of national division, their steadfast dedication demonstrates how consistent, compassionate action can truly change lives.
