It’s September. 🤍

From September to December, I hope things begin to change for the better.

I hope you find your spark again.
I hope the days start feeling a little lighter.
I hope you rediscover joy, connection, purpose, and pieces of yourself you may have lost along the way.

And if you need support getting there, you don’t have to do it alone.

At Stone Healing IOP in Ventura, we believe healing doesn’t always mean putting your entire life on hold. Our outpatient programs provide structured mental health support while allowing you to remain connected to your everyday life.

A new month can be a new beginning.
Here’s to finding your way back to you. 🌿

You can spend months, years trying to understand how someone you trusted could hurt you so deeply.

You replay conversations. You question what was real. You search for answers, thinking that if you could just understand why, maybe the pain would finally make sense.

Eventually, you realize there may never be an answer that makes it make sense.

And after a while, you don’t need one anymore.

Sometimes healing means accepting that what happened hurt you without needing the person who hurt you to explain it.

Video journaling can be a powerful way to process the emotions you don’t know how to say out loud. Talk. Cry. Be angry. Say everything you wish you could say—even if no one ever sees it.

No one truly understands what it takes to rebuild yourself after your reality has been shattered unless they’ve had to do it.

But you don’t have to rebuild alone.

We understand what captivity does to animals.

Animals kept in restrictive environments can develop chronic stress, withdrawal, inactivity, repetitive behaviors, and a loss of interest in the world around them.

But how often do we think about what increasingly restricted lives can do to us?

Humans need sunlight. Fresh air. Movement. Choice. Play. Rest. Social connection. New experiences. Time in nature. Space to simply exist.

Yet so many of us move from home to car to work and back again. We spend hours looking at screens, overschedule our days, and replace meaningful face-to-face connection with texts, scrolling, and reacting to each other online.

We can be constantly connected and still feel incredibly disconnected.

Then we wonder why we feel restless, anxious, lonely, overwhelmed, or simply… flat.

Your brain and nervous system are continuously responding to the environment around you.

So get out of the house.

Feel the sun on your face. Walk barefoot in the grass or sand. Get near the ocean. Move your body outside. Put your phone away. Have a conversation. Share a meal. Laugh with someone you love.

Sometimes supporting your mental health starts with changing your surroundings and reconnecting with the world outside your four walls. 🌿

At Stone Healing, we believe healing is about more than what happens inside a treatment room. It’s about rebuilding connection—to yourself, to other people, and to life.

Follow Stone Healing for more conversations about mental health, healing, and finding your way back to yourself.

And share this with someone you’d love to spend more time outside with. Then actually make the plan. 💚

Take your time with grief. ❤️‍🩹

Maybe you lost a friend.
A relationship.
A job.
A version of yourself.
Or someone you thought would always be there.

We often expect ourselves to heal in weeks or months from experiences that may take years to truly feel okay after.

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and it doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

Give yourself time. Give yourself grace. And remember—you don’t have to navigate it alone.

At Stone Healing, we believe healing happens with support, connection, and a safe place to work through the things that feel too heavy to carry by yourself.

And really… while we were learning how to square dance in school, it would’ve been nice if someone also taught us how to grieve—and how to support the people we love through grief. ❤️‍🩹

We all have a story to tell. 🌿

Life takes us in directions we never expected. There are beautiful chapters, difficult seasons, setbacks, new beginnings, and experiences we may still struggle to put into words.

But even after everything life can put us through, we still have the ability to heal, grow, hope, and find reasons to smile again.

That is strength.

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened or pretending the difficult days never existed. Sometimes it simply means continuing to work on yourself, accepting support when you need it, and choosing to keep moving forward.

If you’re navigating a difficult chapter right now, give yourself some credit.

You’re still here. You’re still growing. And your story is still being written.

At Stone Healing in Ventura, California, we believe everyone deserves support through the chapters that feel too heavy to navigate alone.

“It’s all I ever wanted and prayed for… so why don’t I feel like myself?”

You can love your baby more than anything in the world and still need support.

Motherhood can be everything you dreamed of while also bringing emotions, exhaustion, anxiety, overwhelm, and changes you never expected. Both can be true.

Sometimes, protecting the life you prayed for means allowing someone to help you hold it together.

At Stone Healing in Ventura, California, we believe moms deserve to be supported, too. Getting help doesn’t take away from the beautiful moments — it can help you be present for more of them. 🤍

You deserve to soak in this chapter without feeling like you have to carry everything by yourself.

Sometimes the strongest thing a mom can do is let someone help.

08/25/2026

This is about something much bigger.

It’s about remembering how little we may truly know about what someone is going through behind closed doors.

Someone can be smiling, laughing, going to work, taking care of their family, posting photos, and looking like they have everything together — while quietly carrying something incredibly heavy.

Mental health struggles don’t always look the way we expect them to.

Our friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and even the people closest to us may be facing battles they’ve never talked about. Sometimes people simply don’t know how to ask for help or how to explain what they’re feeling.

At Stone Healing in Ventura, California, we want this to be a reminder to lead with kindness, compassion, and connection.

Check on your people. Ask how they’re really doing. Listen without judgment. Tell someone you love them. Remind someone they matter.

Be the reason someone feels seen today.

Because your words, your presence, and your actions can matter more than you will ever know.

And when someone needs more support, help is available.

Healing doesn’t have to happen alone.

Sometimes the dream changes because you’ve changed. 🌊

Ventura Beach has a way of reminding you to slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with yourself.
The ocean doesn’t rush, and neither should your healing.

What once felt important may no longer align with the person you’re becoming.
And that’s okay.

Growth often means releasing old expectations, old fears, and even old dreams that no longer fit your spirit.

At Stone Healing, we believe healing can look like quiet mornings by the water, long walks on the sand, and choosing peace over pressure.
You’re allowed to begin again.
You’re allowed to create a life that feels calm, grounded, and true to who you are now. 🤍

Being the best mother you possibly can be does not mean being perfect. 🤍

Sometimes being a good mom looks like surviving postpartum.
Sometimes it looks like grieving while still showing up for your children.
Sometimes it means healing your own heart while trying to raise tiny humans with love.

Mothers carry so much that the world never sees.
The exhaustion.
The pressure.
The guilt.
The silent heartbreak.

At Stone Healing and Stone Healing IOP, we believe moms deserve support too. Mental health matters in every stage of motherhood — postpartum, grief, anxiety, burnout, trauma, and everything in between.

You are not failing because you’re struggling.
You are human.
And even on your hardest days, your love still matters more than you know. 🤍

Nobody talks about the kind of burnout where you don’t even feel “dramatic” anymore.
You just slowly stop functioning.

You stop answering messages.
You stare at your phone for an hour without opening anything.
Leaving the house feels like climbing a mountain.
Even simple tasks feel physically heavy.

You’re not lazy.
You’re not weak.
Your nervous system has just been in survival mode for too long.

And the strangest part?
From the outside, people still think you’re “doing fine.”

But inside you feel emotionally flat, exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and guilty for not being productive enough.

Sometimes burnout doesn’t look like crying on the floor.
Sometimes it looks like:
“Maybe if I sleep another hour I’ll feel like a human again.”

Healing from burnout is a strange process because at first, you don’t suddenly become productive again.

First… you just become able to breathe.

At Stone Healing and Stone Healing IOP, we understand that mental exhaustion is real. Healing is not about “snapping out of it.” It’s about creating safety for your mind and nervous system to recover one step at a time.

If you’re in this season right now, you are not alone. 🤍
