On December 9th, 2025 Adriana was diagnosed with Triple Positive breast cancer.

This warrior has endured 6 cycles of chemotherapy, ringing the chemo completion bell in June. Her battle continues with a double mastectomy set for the end of July along with more treatment and surgeries ahead. Adriana stands in her faith and although this journey has been tough, God made her tougher!

This preschool para educator and small business owner has been forced to slow down for her treatment but feels blessed to wake up every morning to care for her 6 year old daughter, Roselyn. Her “Rosie” is her biggest motivation to continue this battle with a smile, embracing her new normal.

This beautiful family has been blessed with a warrior in the strongest most resilient little boy, Elijah Romero.

On May 9, 2025 the Romero family received the news that no parent ever wants to hear. Their 3 year old son Elijah Romero was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Elijah has overcome so much at this tender age and has fought through more just in this last year, than most will experience in a lifetime. From lumbar punctures, blood/ platelet / chemo transfusions, prescriptions of strongest of medications, numerous needle pokes and sleepless nights due to neuropathy pain; Elijah has endured it all. He is a true fighter and carries it all with a smile and zero complaints.

Elijah recently finished the intensification phase of treatment and has been in the final long term maintenance stage for 2 months now. No more weekly appointments!! Yay!!

Elijah’s spirit amazes his family everyday and he is a beacon of light and hope! has gifted his family a $222 Costco shop card for their essentials. Keep fighting the good fight family.

I am still picking up the pieces, I’m still in recovery. Here’s a small part of the aftermath of being a Cancer Care giver. Here’s what left.

My Mom fought hard, took all the drugs, did all she could to stay but in the end, cancer would win. I’m left to mourn, clean up and repair what I can. I’m also left with a gift of more wisdom to encourage others on their cancer journeys.

We fight the good fight over here! We are on fire for life and HOPE shines bright. I Miss u Shelly, Hot Mama eternal!

Alexis lost her husband to Covid in 2021 leaving her a single mom to 2 children. A short time after her tremendous loss, her son Jordan was diagnosed with leukemia. During Jordan’s treatment, Alexis was also hit by a drunk driver leaving her disabled.

Though she struggles daily with her own personal pain, she continues to push forward to work to provide for her children while making sure Jordan receives his care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Children's Hospital L.A.. Alexis is grateful for her own Mother and small circle of friends and family who help her along the way.

Cancer Care gifted Alexis with a $222 Costco Shop card for grocery shopping and other essentials for her family. We celebrate your resilience Alexis, keep fighting the good fight with our little warrior Jordan!

During everyone’s walk with Mother Earth, there will be moments when we must take self-care action for our own physical well-being, health of our family unit and the community we serve. For Molly, this meant an invasive preventative skin treatment and making a lifestyle change encompassing her relationship with the Sun.
