Big news from the VEMS family today! 🚑✨

We are thrilled to announce that Ethan Jones has successfully passed his NREMT exam and is officially a Nationally Registered EMT!

Ethan has put in the work, survived the grueling study sessions, and proven he has what it takes to protect and serve our community. The next time you see Ethan around headquarters or out on a call, make sure to give him a big congratulations!

As part of National Safety Month, we're sharing simple tips each week to help keep you and your family safe. A few minutes of preparation today can make a big difference during an emergency tomorrow.

🚑Week 1 Safety Challenge: Take 5 Minutes to Prepare

• Make Your Address Visible
Ensure your house numbers can be easily seen from the street during both the day and at night. In an emergency, every second counts, and clearly visible numbers help first responders find you faster.

• Set Up Your Medical ID
Most smartphones have a Medical ID feature that allows first responders to access critical medical information, emergency contacts, allergies, and medications—even if you're unable to communicate.

Small steps can make a big difference when an emergency occurs.

Come support Vernon Emergency Medical Services today and tomorrow for our annual coin drive! No amount is too small!
Coin drives help us raise money so we can continue to support the community, maintain the latest equipment and technology, and attend community events! Every single penny, nickel, dime, and quarter goes directly back into keeping Vernon Township safe.

Right at the intersection of Route 515 and Route 94 (by the Burger King)! Look out for our volunteer crew and emergency vehicles!
