Meet Dick!

Today's sponsored resident for our Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser is Dick, sponsored by Erica!

Dick served our country as an Army Specialist 4th Class before building a successful career as an art director in advertising. In fact, if you've ever visited Cave of the Mounds or enjoyed a slice from Rocky Rococo, you've seen some of Dick's creative work—he designed both logos!

These days, you'll often find Dick tapping along to his favorite music, sharing a good joke, talking about classic cars, or reminiscing about his love of sailing. He also has a special soft spot for small animals and never misses a chance to enjoy their company.

From now until Walk Day on October 4th, Azura of Verona is raising money for the Alzheimer's Association by inviting community members to sponsor a resident with a $10 donation. Every donation helps support Alzheimer's care, support, and research while honoring the incredible individuals who call Azura home.

A big congratulations to all of our winners from our Walk to End Alzheimer's Bingo Fundraiser! Thanks to the incredible support of our residents, families, team members, and community members, we raised $320 towards our Verona Walk to End Alzheimer's team!

We had a wonderful evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of lucky bingo calls—all for a cause that is close to our hearts!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success! Special thank you to Slice of Heaven Bakery, Brighton Hospice, Cornerstone Family Chiropractic, Stellar Rehabilitation, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Carlson's Quarters, Styles by Nichole, Sharon Zipfel Schafer, Brian Backler at Wisconsin Metal Clean and Edward Jones for their very generous basket donations!!
