I don’t have the biggest following in the world, but I can confidently say that the majority of my patients find me through Instagram.

And the best part? I genuinely LOVE the people who find me here.

They already know my personality. They know how I talk, what I care about, how I practice, and probably a little more about my life than they ever asked for 🙃🫠 So by the time they actually book an appointment, they already know we’re going to be a good fit.

I think we make posting on Instagram way harder than it needs to be. People don’t need every post to be perfectly curated, wildly educational, or groundbreaking. They just want to see that there’s an actual human behind the business.

The best care should give you more confidence in your body over time, not make you feel like you can’t function without it.

Treatment can support the process, but the bigger goal is always building capacity, resilience, and the ability to keep doing the things you love 🤸

I hear this almost every day in clinic. A patient starts listing everything they perceive to be “wrong” with them and then apologizes, like they’re too complicated to treat. Reality check: rarely is any case we treat straightforward. We all have a list.

Give yourself some grace. You’re in my office because you’re seeking to feel better, not because you’re broken.

**And you’re very perfect to me 🙂‍↔️

Sore throats stinkk big time

Lung 11 gets bled (or in my case attempted to bleed) because it’s the jing-well point of the lung channel, and jing-well points are where we go for acute, excess conditions like this. think of it as releasing the pressure valve.

San Cha San clears heat from the throat directly.

Large Intestine 4 is the classic point for anything happening at the head and neck.

Lung 10 clears heat in the lung channel and is known for treating throat pain specifically.

acupuncture isn’t magic 🪄

It won’t fix dehydration.
It won’t override you continuously choosing not to rest.
And one session won’t undo months (or years) of neglect.

What it does do is help your body adapt, recover, and regulate… when you’re willing to participate.

Not every adhd fix has to be a big system overhaul. Sometimes it’s a $3 fidget and admitting your brain wants something to do with your hands while the rest of you focuses.

In chinese medicine, shen is your mind’s ability to settle and feel clear. For some nervous systems, a little movement is actually what gets them there, not what pulls them away from it.

So I hope this gives you permission a stop hiding your fidgets. Turns out they’re not a distraction, they’re actually doing a job for your silly little brain!!

Cosmetic acupuncture is magic because it works with your skin’s own processes.

Needles create tiny points of micro trauma that trigger your body’s collagen and elastin production, and they also improve local blood flow and lymphatic drainage, which is why people notice better tone and a more even complexion, not just fewer wrinkles

It’s not an overnight fix. Most people do a series of treatments (think 8-12 sessions) then maintenance every few weeks, because you’re working with your own tissue and giving it time to respond. Results build gradually and they age with your face over time

It’s a slower process, but the tradeoff is that you’re improving the skin’s actual function, not just how it looks on the surface 🪡
