My kids friends are turning 18 now, making me feel old as they’re all seniors this year!!

soooo, guess I’ll be seeing more of them in my future as the “cool tattoo mom” 🤣

I met a Hawaiian native who specializes in Hawaiian art, I was blessed and prayed over for this Makau piece I received. I,somewhat like the hook have always had a a feeling of strong spiritual power for the islands, the waters, my ohana. It’s always been the one thing I’ve always had my whole life I wear that’s made me feel tied to my heritage as crazy as it sounds, it’s a physical and mental symbol of fortitude. It’s a longing for the things I’ve wished to know and have for a lifetime, but I’m learning so much in my older age about who I am and where I come from and it’s such a meaningful piece for me.
