Started my morning with a 90-year-old patient sharing stories of a life beautifully lived, and wrapped up the afternoon with a 7-day-old and big sister proudly showing her off.

That is the true beauty of primary care.

We get the unique privilege of caring for people at the very beginning of life, supporting them through the final chapters, and guiding them through every single milestone in between. It is a continuous thread of trust, family, and human connection. There is truly nothing else like it.

As a rural health clinic, we believe in supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.

We are excited to welcome Sara Swinney to our team at Versailles Healthcare for the fall semester.

During her time with us, Sara will shadow our medical staff, help with patient education programs, and learn how we provide quality care in our rural community. You may see her assisting around the office or sitting in on appointments with your permission.

A note from Sara:

Hi! My name is Sara Swinney! I’m a senior, from Jac-Cen-Del High School. I’m apart of cheer, dance, and also active in clubs like FFA and Sunshine during the school year. Some of my hobbies are 4-H, being in Junior Leaders, hanging out with my friends, shopping, and getting fun drinks. I graduated from the Southeastern Career Center last year, and I got my Veterinary Assistant license from the program, Vet Science. I’m enrolled in Ivy Tech, I’ve done and I’m still doing a lot of classes to help my future career. I’m filled with excitement for this experience at Versailles Healthcare, and also getting to experience the things I want to do in my future. After I graduate I want to go to college for nursing, and get my RN and then get my BSN.
