This June, Cognivue is proud to support Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month by helping raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

As shared by Cognivue President and CEO, Paul W. Estes: “Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month is an important reminder that brain health deserves attention at every stage of life. At Cognivue, we remain committed to advancing cognitive assessment technology that helps healthcare providers gain meaningful insights into cognitive function and better guide patient care. Together, we can continue encouraging proactive approaches to brain health that support patients, families, and communities.”

This year’s Alzheimer's Association 2026 Facts and Figures Report reinforces an important message: brain health is a lifelong priority. Findings highlighted from the U.S. POINTER study underscore the importance of addressing modifiable lifestyle factors and proactive approaches that may help protect cognitive function over time.[1]

At Cognivue, our mission is rooted in empowering healthcare providers with innovative digital cognitive assessment technologies designed to provide objective insights into cognitive function that can help inform care pathways.

This month, we join healthcare professionals, researchers, caregivers, advocates, and organizations across the country in encouraging conversations around cognitive health and the importance of early awareness.

Digital cognitive assessment is evolving rapidly, and rigorous scientific comparison matters.

A new peer-reviewed Matters Arising correspondence published in Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy discusses important considerations in how digital cognitive assessments are compared across studies and datasets.

The correspondence highlights the importance of:
• Using contemporaneous, comparable datasets when making cross-test comparisons
• Interpreting comparative findings within appropriate methodological context
• Transparent and harmonized evaluation approaches in digital cognitive assessment research

Published findings from the Bio-Hermes study have demonstrated that Cognivue Clarity®:
• Differentiates cognitive impairment in biomarker-confirmed cohorts
• Characterizes amyloid status and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease
• Supports amyloid risk prediction through the Cognivue Amyloid Risk Measure (CARM)

We believe scientific progress is strengthened through transparent, evidence-based dialogue and continued validation across diverse populations.

“By the time most patients reach a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation, they've often been symptomatic for years.”
—Lauren Bennett, PhD, ABPP-CN, Neuropsychologist, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian

That gap is not just about access. It’s about timing.

In last week’s Cognivue webinar, "Closing the Cognitive Care Gap: Uniting Providers Across the Patient Journey," leaders across audiology, optometry, mental health, and geriatric medicine came together to examine how earlier identification of cognitive changes can happen in the course of everyday care.

Moderated through a public health lens, the discussion highlighted how routine patient encounters can serve as critical opportunities to recognize change sooner and how to strengthen referral pathways to support more connected, patient-centered care.

Early cognitive changes are often missed because cognitive screening isn’t more broadly integrated into routine care.

This is exactly what our poster, “Shifting the Paradigm: Making Cognitive Assessment a Standard of Care,” presented last week at the On Aging 2026 conference, aims to address.

Our findings highlight a clear opportunity: allied health professionals are uniquely positioned to expand early detection. These providers—across a wide range of disciplines such as audiology, optometry, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and more—see patients frequently and assess functions closely tied to cognition, creating natural access points for screening.

Using an Integrated Care Pathway framework, we outline how brief, adaptive cognitive screening such as Cognivue Thrive® can be embedded into existing workflows, supporting earlier identification and more coordinated, proactive care.

In this poster, audiology serves as a leading model, demonstrating a practical, scalable approach that can extend across disciplines.
