hello, September 💛🌻🍅🏈 If you know Ang, you know she actually spent time two weekends ago putting out all of her fall decorations and getting ready for cooler temps 🤪 Nothing like s fresh start and new beginning, we always welcome it with open arms!

Here's what's on our radar for September: continued well checks as we head into sick season (great time to keep a check on things like Vitamin D), fall produce that's in season (can't wait to share Ang's garden updates), and of course taking care of you and your family as we do roll into the dreaded flu and cold season!

Wellness, in our house, isn’t about restricting ALL the good things, it’s just about finding good substitutes to still enjoy the things we love while making better, healthier choices. 🍯☀🤎 It’s the same thing I tell my patients every day. Restriction never lasts, but substitution and wiser decisions do. This is one of the main reasons why I began making my own bread (for my Liam)-- I can substitute honey as a sweetener instead of sugar that’s in the bread on the shelf at grocery stores.

I realize that this isn’t feasible for everyone, but I am sharing since it’s one of my recent JOYS but also one small way that my house chooses healthy. 💙

Book a Hydration & Wellness Consult with the provider to talk through hydration, recovery, and overall wellness for their sport. We’ll assess each athlete individually and recommend the right approach for them. Have your athlete wear his/her jersey to the visit for a little thank-you from us! 🥎⚽️🏈🏀⚾️

**Consults are for athletes of all ages; those under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any treatment is provided only when clinically appropriate.

Back to school germs are real, and you can’t hide from them, BUT there are things you can do to limit the spread of them in your home and for your kids. 🎒✏️🍎🏫

Wash hands frequently (more than you think necessary), clean/disinfect high touch areas frequently, cover coughs and sneezes and work with your child(ren) on doing the same!

If he/she DOES start running a FEVER, keep them home and take them to a doctor. We will be glad to see you in office anytime, back to school germs or not!
