I’ve taken a LOT of CE courses over the years… and I can genuinely say I had never experienced one like this.

This isn’t the kind of CE where you sit in a chair, listen to someone teach, check the box for your hours, and go home wondering how you’re actually supposed to use what you learned.

You PRACTICE it.

You have instructors and teaching assistants walking around while you work, correcting you, guiding you, answering questions in real time, and making sure you actually understand what you’re doing.

And when the weekend is over, the support doesn’t disappear.

That may be one of my favorite parts.

Monique Deuroen and the team at Mind Body Business Mentors aren’t just teaching Somatic Massage. They’re building a community of massage therapists who continue supporting one another after the CE is over.

Because of how this training is structured, you can go back to work and confidently begin integrating what you learned into the modality you ALREADY use.

Sports massage.
Deep tissue.
Relaxation.
Clinical work.
Whatever your specialty is.

You don’t have to completely change the way you practice. You learn how to make what you already do even more effective.

After experiencing this work myself, I am SO excited that it’s coming to Tyler.

East Texas needs more therapists who understand this work.

And yes… selfishly, I also need some of y’all to take this because I would really like to have a few local therapists I can go to when I need this work too. 😂

Ask me where the massage table should go and suddenly I need adult supervision. 😂

Ask me what your body needs to perform better in your sport? That’s the kind of no-brainer I can break down all day.

My job isn’t just to ask, “Where does it hurt?” and have you hop on the table.

I need to know your sport.
How your body moves in that sport.
What muscles and movement patterns you rely on.
Where you compensate.
Where you’re losing power, mobility, stability, speed or control.
What hurts.
What feels weak.
And most importantly, what you’re trying to accomplish.

By the time we’ve worked together consistently, I probably know your movement habits like someone who has been personally assigned custody of your most valuable piece of equipment. 😂

Because your body IS the equipment.

My goal isn’t to give you temporary relief every time you start “feeling it.”

It’s to help you recover intentionally so you can train better, move better, chase new PRs, compete for medals and create more wins through recovery.

That’s exactly what my Athlete Ambassadors are doing.

They’ve committed to making recovery part of their training instead of waiting until something hurts, and we’re able to track changes, address patterns early and keep working toward the goals that matter in their sport.

Consistency matters.

Recovery works best when it’s planned, intentional and built into your training.

If you’re an athlete in Tyler, TX or the surrounding East Texas area and that kind of approach feels like a no-brainer for your goals, DM me AMBASSADOR and let’s see if you’re a fit for the RPM Athlete Ambassador Program.

Maybe it’s not that your massage “isn’t working.”

Maybe it’s just the wrong kind of massage for the results you want.

Relaxation massage is great for exactly what it’s designed to do: help you relax, reduce stress, and downshift.

But if you’re training for better performance, your goals may be different.

More range of motion. Better movement. Fewer compensation patterns. Improved recovery. A body that can keep up with what you’re asking it to do.

At Recovery & Performance Massage, we don’t just know sports massage. We’re athletes too.

We understand training, competition, PRs, and why your recovery needs to be as intentional as your workouts.

Your sessions are built around your sport, your movement, your training, and your goals.

Because athletes don’t just need massage.

They need recovery with a purpose.

And if that’s what you’ve been missing…

🎶 I think you need a new one. 😉

You’re training for the PR.
The podium.
The next level.

But what if the thing slowing you down isn’t your training?

It’s your lack of recovery.

You wouldn’t expect your body to perform at 100% after getting no sleep all week.

Yet athletes train hard day after day and expect their bodies to keep producing without giving them enough opportunity to recover.

Training creates the demand.

Recovery is where your body catches up to it.

It’s where you repair, restore, adapt, and prepare to do it again.

Skip that part consistently and eventually you’re asking a tired body to keep producing more.

More fatigue. More compensation. More nagging issues. Less progress.

Your competition is training hard too.

The advantage may be in how well you recover from it.

If you’re a competitive athlete in Tyler, TX or the surrounding area and recovery isn’t currently part of your strategy, DM me RECOVERY.

Let’s talk about what your training could look like when your body finally has the support to keep up with your goals.

Recover Faster. Perform Better.

Your training is hectic.

Heavy lifts. Fast reps. Long runs. Hard practices. Constantly asking your body for MORE.

But more isn’t always what your body needs.

Sometimes, the thing that helps you keep pushing forward is intentionally slowing down.

That’s what consistent recovery gives you.

When we slow things down on the table, I can pay attention to how your body is responding to the demands of your sport. Where you’re holding tension. Where movement is becoming restricted. Where your body may be compensating just to keep up.

And instead of waiting until something hurts enough to affect your training, we work to keep your body moving well along the way.

So you can recover faster between sessions.
Move with more freedom.
Stay consistent in your training.
And show up ready when it’s time to compete.

Slowing down isn’t the opposite of training hard.
It’s part of being able to keep training hard.

My Athlete Ambassadors understand that.

They don’t wait until their body forces them to slow down.

They put recovery on the schedule because they have somewhere they’re trying to go.

You track your reps.
Your pace.
Your weight.
Your splits.
Your technique.

But who’s paying attention to the details your body is giving you?

That “tight” hip.
The shoulder that only bothers you after certain lifts.
The hamstring that keeps feeling like it needs to be stretched.
The low back that flares up every time training volume increases.

Those details matter.

Because where you feel the problem isn’t always where the problem started.

Your body adapts to keep you moving. It compensates. It shifts load. It protects. And sometimes the pain you finally notice is simply the place that can’t keep compensating anymore.

That’s why I don’t want to just know where it hurts.

I want to know how you move.
How you train.
What changed.
What your body is protecting.
And what patterns keep showing up.

And THIS is why consistent recovery matters.

When I work with an athlete consistently, I’m not meeting their body for the first time every time something hurts.

I learn their body. I learn their patterns. I notice the changes.

That’s one of the things I love most about my Athlete Ambassador Program.

It’s not just “getting massages.”

It’s having an Athlete Recovery Specialist in your corner who is paying attention to the details while you focus on the goal.

You train for the win.
Let’s make sure your recovery is helping you get there.

Athletes are really good at one thing: pushing past discomfort.

Train harder.
Push further.
Do another rep.
Make your body do what you need it to do.

So it makes sense that when athletes get on my table, they often want the same thing:

“Go deep.”
“More pressure.”
“You can’t hurt me.”

But here’s the problem…

Your body isn’t always something you need to overpower.

Sometimes more force gets you a short-term change while your nervous system is still holding onto the same protective pattern underneath it.

That’s why my goal isn’t to force your body into more range.

It’s to work WITH your body.

We create enough safety for the body to let go of unnecessary guarding, explore more range, and move beyond the protective patterns that may be limiting your performance.

Because the goal isn’t to see how much pressure you can tolerate on my table.

The goal is to change what your body can do when you get off of it.

Deep pressure has its place.

But better recovery isn’t always about pushing harder.

Sometimes your competitive advantage comes from teaching your body that it’s safe to stop fighting.

Recover Faster. Perform Better.

You’re asking me the wrong questions. 👀

“Don’t your hands hurt?”
“Does your husband get massages all the time?”
“Do you get creepy clients?”

Nope. Nope. And nope. 😂

But if you’re a competitive athlete with access to an Athlete Recovery Specialist, THOSE aren’t the questions you should be asking.

Ask me:

“What are you noticing in my movement?”
“What could be limiting my mobility?”
“How should my recovery change as competition gets closer?”
“What patterns could be costing me performance?”
“How can we make recovery part of my training strategy?”

And one of my favorites…

“How do I work with you consistently instead of waiting until something hurts?”

👆 THAT is exactly why I created the RPM Athlete Ambassador Program.

My Ambassadors don’t treat massage like an emergency button.

They commit to recovery as part of their training.

We work together throughout the year, align recovery with the demands of their sport, address patterns as they show up, and adjust as their training and competition goals change.

Because when you have big goals, you shouldn’t just have a massage therapist.

You should have an Athlete Recovery Specialist in your corner.

Think you have what it takes to be an RPM Athlete Ambassador?
Check out the Athlete Ambassador application at the link in my bio.

Now back to the question I REALLY want to know…

👇 If you had an Athlete Recovery Specialist in your corner, what would YOU ask me?

You train too hard to let poor recovery hold you back. 🔥

Train hard.
Recover harder.
Move better.
Perform better.
Create wins. 🏆

Sports massage isn’t a luxury when performance is the goal.

Recover like you compete.

YOU’RE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR TRAINING. YOUR RECOVERY SHOULD MATCH IT. 🔥

One massage when everything hurts can help you feel better.

But consistent recovery changes the way you move through your entire training cycle.

Weekly or bi-weekly recovery gives us the opportunity to work with your body before tightness, restricted movement, and accumulated training stress start interfering with what you’re trying to accomplish.

That can mean:

🔥 Better mobility and freedom of movement
🔥 Less accumulated tension from week to week
🔥 Better recovery between hard training sessions
🔥 Addressing restrictions before they start affecting movement patterns
🔥 More productive training because your body is ready to work
🔥 Consistency instead of constantly stopping to deal with what hurts
🔥 A body that feels prepared for the demands you keep placing on it

Because the goal isn’t to get you off my table feeling good for a few hours.

The goal is to help you stay ready for your next training session, your next PR, your next competition and ultimately, your next WIN. 🏆

And there’s another benefit:

Your recovery is already handled.

Same day.
Same time.
Your spot.

No remembering to book. No hoping I have an opening when you finally need me.

I’m opening ONE weekly and ONE bi-weekly recurring recovery spot.

Once those two athletes claim them, they’re off the schedule.

If your training is consistent, it might be time your recovery was too.

DM me RECOVERY to claim your spot. 🔥
