With the establishment of a new committee devoted to thyroid diseases, EANM recognizes the increasing need of focused efforts to enhance the visibility of nuclear medicine armamentarium in the diagnosis and therapy of benign and malignant thyroid diseases. This Committee will be instrumental in standardization of radionuclide techniques with new guidelines, involving in educational activities with
in EANM, and collaborating with other professional organizations focused on thyroid diseases. With the Thyroid Committee, the EANM now counts 15 scientific Committees, who’s members put their commitment and efforts in bringing the EANM up to the highest scientific standard, implementing the strategy of the EANM Board.
