Good evening!! We would, on this beautiful day, like to annouce that our pharmacy in Vienna is in process of, and has been acquired by Shrivers Pharmacy. After 20 years of providing the community elite pharmacy services, my family has decided to step away from pharmacy. We understand to some of you that this might come as quite a shock. There have been many factors in this decision, all of which have not been taken lightly. But most importantly, this decision was with you, our loyal customers and patients, in mind. As many of you know, running and operating a small business is a 24-hour job. The current climate in healthcare and pharmacy for a single store owner/operator has become almost impossible. When my father passed away unexpectedly in 2024, I began to have a greater awareness of how much a toll the business was having on myself and my family. We have been mulling over this decision for many years. As my family has grown up in the pharmacy, they are all now begining their lives and chasing their dreams. We want to be there right beside them continuing to help and support them in everything they do. There are so many people we would like to thank for this incredible experience that we could never have enough space to list in this post. First, we would like to thank our incredible employees over the years. We have been blessed with some of the most amazing and caring people possible. All of our current employees that wanted to continue working will still be smiling at you in the store!! What a relief and blessing that is for us!! These employees have worked so hard to give you an exceptional pharmacy experience and that won’t be changing going forward!! We would like to acknowledge and publicly thank Dr. Randy Heavner and all the physicians/nurses/and support staff of the original Mid Ohio Valley Medical Group for taking a chance on a young married couple that wanted to return to Vienna, WV and start a pharmacy from scratch. Your faith, loyalty, and trust in us will never be forgotten. Dr. Prakash Patel, you are such a light to the medical complex and your professionalism and mentorship over the years are unmatched. Dr. JT and Darcy Conner, we thank you as well, it has been an honor to serve patients together for 20 years and to watch our families grow. So many great providers, nurses, pharmacists, we have been so blessed by all of you! To our loyal customers and patients, words can’t describe how grateful we are and have been to have you part of our lives. Your support and loyalty are unmatched and each and every one of you are loved. To Vienna and the entire Mid-Ohio Valley, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We don’t exactly know what exact path our life takes from here, but we know we serve a mighty God that has been with us all along.
We would ask that we pray for each other, as a community, for health, and that God will continue to bless each and every one of us. We pray for the Shrivers team during the transition, they offer a first class pharmacy experience and have our complete trust in taking care of you and being the new and only “independent” pharmacy in Vienna.
