Let’s talk about the importance of downsizing after your initial jewelry 👇

After your piercing is done, we always start you with a longer post to allow room for swelling (this is completely normal). But once that swelling goes down, wearing jewelry that’s too long can actually cause problems.

✨ Why downsizing matters:
• Prevents irritation and bumps
• Reduces the risk of snagging or getting caught
• Helps your piercing heal straighter and faster
• Keeps your jewelry sitting beautifully and comfortably

If you don’t downsize, that extra length can move around too much — leading to friction, delayed healing, and even migration.
