Laymani Boxer UPDATE...Oct. 8, 2026

We are so happy to update that all 3 of our available puppies have found their heart connections and will be joining their families !!!

Toffee was the last one chosen, and the first to leave us. Her family came Sunday and fell in love with her. Toffee is loving life in her new home with her people.🩷😊. Laurie and Ron have been long time Boxer people and recently lost their sweet Boxer and were looking for a Boxer to help heal their hearts. Toffee was perfect age to fit right into their lives.

Praline is preparing for his trip to Long Island on Friday. Pralines new name will be Gunnar and he is going to be a big surprise to his 16 year old new best friend, Nicolas.... Nick grew up with his Boxer and they have been lost without her.....Nicolas will be excited to have a Boxer pup back in his life to share his adventures...🩷😊.

Carmel was the first of the pups to be connected and will be the last to leave us. Carmel's new name will be Katie, and she will be joining a Laymani Family coming all the way from Alabama on Monday. Katie's family have been long time Boxer people and recently lost their Laymani Boxer, Gilda....Chris has been lost without her, Chris has been a Laymani family for many years and has followed our page and Carmel's life. We are so happy she will have another Laymani to help heal her heart.

Thank you to everyone that has followed our sweet pups and were praying that they would find their people. We are so happy for all 3 pups and their families.

I saw Praline come into the house yesterday, and at first glance, he looked fully-grown. Yes, this half-grown pup is Large. On second glance, I could still see puppy features and realized that he's just big for his age. Praline is going to grow into an impressive Boxer. Notice a photo of him standing on his toes, like "cat's feet". IOW, I really like his stance.

Dixie's puppies had a great photo shoot the other day. It's sooo enjoyable to have older puppies around. They have out-grown many of the irritating bits of little pups and are strongly relating to people. Sayleh, the puppy wrangler, brought each of them over to greet us. It's So Clear how these pups relate to her. When she speaks, they pay attention. When she asks them to calm down, they do it. I really appreciated her help for these photos!

With older puppies, we have much more information about their growth rates and temperament. Carmel is a smaller female Boxer with a loving, gentle attitude. She will be perfect for a smaller home and young children. Praline is a larger male. He's an easy-keeper, ready to respond to you. Big fella - but calm. Toffee is a regular-sized female Boxer. She's a spitfire, quickly reacting to anything going on nearby - including the TV. Toffee is easy-enough to handle, although she's always ready to go.

We have another session of photos ready to go, and I'll have them posted soon!

People that have follow Laymani for years, remember when I posted almost daily and updated on our puppies ALL the time....often long stories as they were growing up and discovering the world. I am sorry I can not post like I did.....fb has changed soooo much that I can no longer keep up with the how too's ...At one time I could write and edit a post at the same time, and then post it and it would appear ....no problem. Now I spend time writing ....finding a difficult time trying to cut/paste/delete etc....and post....I spent this morning writing a story about our 3 puppies, and shared the back story on all 3 and why they are still with us. When i went to post it P**F it was gone....so i will try again...without all the details..lol

We have had multiple requests for these sweet pups....and we had potentially placed them with families, but through no fault of the pups, when it came time for pickup dates the families had found life changes that made adding a puppy not possible...or mis communication with expectations. We understand that life often intervenes in ways we do not expect, and although our pups are still waiting for a heart connection. ...we understand that these 3 pups are waiting for their special family, that the timing for them to be chosen is for them to be at this perfect age....past the VET VISITS, voice responsive, house friendly, dog/cat friendly, kid and people loved, sleep thru the night, crate ready, lead compliant, basic manners.🩷😊 Ready to become part of a family.....so if you have been following us, and thinking about a great pup, ready for family life....give us a call 740 336 0558 ...
