My girls super excited for school to start!

Phew today was a long one.

We started off in good spirits, but let me tell you, telling a 5 year old she can’t eat anything for almost 24 hours is ROUGH! But hopefully we can stop NPO because our girl sat through her mri today like a champ with NO sedation!

Labs will also be the death of us, two sticks, both of them were no good. I’m not sure who cried more, me or her. We were sent to a line nurse who thankfully got it on the first try. Then Kelsey Autumn Breaux came to the rescue with a fairy outfit which made everything better.

We had dinner, made new friends, played her little heart out. Now we’re about to head to our room, pack, and get ready for our early flight home tomorrow !

Not much of a change, but new medication is finally working, tumor has gone down about 2mm and is less enhanced!

I asked her doctor how long she would stay with this treatment plan, as of right now it’s 2 years.
I also asked what the plan was for when we stop treatment because she doesn’t show signs of tumor progression like most people.

Once off treatment she will have to be even more closely monitored with scans more often. But for now we will take the win of it shrinking some and enjoy the next 3 months of normalcy at home!

We are pooped and already in bed!

We woke up at 4 am, got breakfast and pulled into the airport at 5 am. Had a two hour layover in Dallas, made it to Memphis around 11.

Once we made it to campus we rushed to the cafeteria for lunch, played for a bit, then had her echo/ekg.
Played some more, had ice cream now we are bathed and in bed to get ready for a long day tomorrow 💕
