A Very Honest Update ❤️

I’m so sorry, everyone, but I’m really not doing very well right now.

Because of the massive infection I already had before the tooth was pulled, I’ve unfortunately ended up with a dry socket. My antibiotics and medications have now been changed again, and between the infection draining and all of the medication, my stomach is on a complete yo-yo. It has been a lot.

I’ve been fighting what I thought was a sinus infection for the past three months, never realizing that there could be a tooth causing the problem. If we can’t get this infection under control, quite frankly, the next stop may be the hospital—and I’m really hoping we can avoid that.

So, with that being said, the shop will be open on and off over the next couple of days, depending on whether my husband or daughter is able to be there to help.

I’m probably going to have to go home for a few days and get some much-needed, major rest so I can get this under control and get back on my feet.

For Thursday and Friday, we will only be open until approximately 12:30–1:00 PM, depending on when my husband needs to leave to make his Amazon deliveries.

If you need immediate help and we are not open, please call 217-370-3596 and we will do our best to help you.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and the changing hours. I promise I will keep everyone posted as I know more.

Today’s Hours ❤️

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, but we will only be open today from 10 AM–1 PM.

After having a tooth pulled yesterday, I’m honestly just not feeling well. I’ve been fighting a sinus infection for the past three months, and after everything I’ve been dealing with, ultimately having a tooth pulled (and possibly needing a second one pulled) has really taken a toll on me.

This morning I’m extremely nauseous from everything draining, along with the medications and pain pills I’ve needed because of the amount of pain I’ve been in.

As much as I hate to do it, I need to listen to my body and go home to rest and heal. ❤️

So, we’ll be open 10 AM–1 PM today, and then we’ll be back open Thursday at 10 AM.

🌿💛 A Temporary Update to Our Wednesday Hours 💛🌿

Friends, I’m going to be real with you — the next couple of months are massive for our community, and I am running full speed every single day. Between the Route 66 Centennial event ‑ The Historical Society Ribbon cutting on October 10, the pollinator garden on the Square, and Country Christmas right behind it… it’s all hands‑on deck. And yes, I’m exhausted.

Because of that, we’re making a temporary adjustment to help us keep everything moving smoothly.

⏰ Updated Wednesday Hours (Starting This Week):

Wednesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Wellness Wednesday: Moving to the second Wednesday of each month through January, 4-7pm.

All other hours remain the same, and this change is temporary while we push through the biggest event season we’ve ever planned.

As you all know, I’m deeply rooted in this community — and these next few months are the culmination of years of work, partnerships, planning, and passion. I still have a shop to run, Amazon to handle, events to coordinate, and projects to finish… and at the end of the day, I’m tired. Adjusting Wednesdays gives us the breathing room we need to keep serving you and keep building up Virden.

We’ll reevaluate everything in January and likely bring our regular schedule back. Thank you all for understanding, supporting, and showing up for us the way you always do.

After an amazing Girard Festival Days weekend, we’re feeling every bit of it! ❤️

To be completely honest, we are absolutely exhausted, and the shop looks like a tornado came through after unpacking everything. We need just a little extra time to rest, recover, and get everything back in order.

Because of that, Neatos Elements will be open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding. Taking this extra time means we can come back refreshed and ready to give you the best experience possible.
