Honored to Guest Speak with Portsmouth Naval Chaplains
It was an honor to speak with the Portsmouth Naval Chaplains about an important topic that is often overlooked: pelvic health and the whole person. Thankful to Emily Teel M.A., LMFT of e.sage.therapy for the invite.
Pelvic health is about much more than bladder and bowel function. Pelvic health concerns can affect:
• Physical readiness
• Sleep and concentration
• Exercise and performance
• Confidence and relationships
• Mental and emotional well-being
For Chaplains, understanding these connections can be especially valuable because they are often among the first people Service Members turn to when they need a safe place to talk about difficult or deeply personal concerns.
Thank you to the Portsmouth Naval Chaplains for creating space for this important conversation and for the work you do to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
