To start the week, retrograde Venus in Scorpio forms it's second of three squares to Pluto in Aquarius (Sep 15, Oct 19, Dec 9) as the Sun traces Venus' recent steps in Libra by opposing Chiron in Aries while forming a trine to the Moon's north node in Aquarius.

We are digging deeper into the core of any lingering toxic attachments as the pull toward the future makes us more acutely aware of just how 'heavily' we are being weighed down by the past and by what we may still believe we 'owe' others in our lives to feel worthy.

The new energy paradigm is opening to a more sovereign path for individuals which reorganizes the way in which people harmonize and relate to each other in a way that honors personal boundaries and that allows for a more supportive expression of authenticity in our relationships...

Since 2018, we have been exploring the wounds associated with any perception of 'lack' in our independent agency and capability, and other people in our lives may serve as a 'test' for us this week to remind us just how far we have come in the healing process associated with releasing codependency for sovereignty!

We are in the 'thick' of some serious CLEARING right now and it is making way for a much lighter path forward if we embrace our shadows and allow for this current process of internal transformation.

We're in the THICK of it now as the Sun enters Scorpio ♏️ and joins retrograde Venus to form the final Venus Star Point in Scorpio in our lifetimes!

The future is pulling us forward into our sovereignty which is making it all the more important that we examine and ELIMINATE any toxic attachments that we may still harbor...

Mercury turning retrograde in Scorpio (Oct 24-Nov 13) will give us the opportunity to DIG into the toxic AGREEMENTS that have resulted in these outdated attachments so that we can more consciously comprehend what needs a to be eliminated to properly move forward.

The end of the week features Pluto turning direct in Aquarius as the Sun in Libra forms a sextile to Jupiter in Leo and as Mars in Leo forms a trine to Saturn in Aries.

In the midst of Venus retrograding through Scorpio and just before Mercury does the same, Pluto (co-ruler of Scorpio) shifts into direct motion in Aquarius signifying a time of forward movement in collective transformation that creates a 'wake' of energy which puts more pressure on the individual 'clearings' of toxic agreements and attachments associated with the retrogrades of these personal planets.

Opportunities to grow and EXPAND toward more appropriate relational situations are present but can only be properly utilized if we are confident enough to align ourselves personally with the collective transformations by 'diving' deep into our psyches to address and remove the toxicity within our current situations that prevent us from moving forward HONESTLY...

We can choose to ACT from an intrinsically confident foundation of authenticity that assumes that we deserve a sovereign place in the future of society OR we can continue to allow arrogance and it's expectation of external validation of our 'perceived power' in our relational situations to drive our decisions but, ultimately, WE are the ones responsible for how we approach our associations with others!

Codependence and the power trips that are derived from it's many forms of manipulation are a dying tactic in a world of increasing sovereign empowerment.

This weekend's New Moon in Libra ♎️ is asking us to set firm BOUNDARIES in alignment with our sovereign authenticity, which will form a foundation for our new relational selves moving forward.

This will be an ongoing process over the coming months, and it starts with our conscious approach to undoing the 'knots' in our psyches with regards to the toxic attachments and agreements that keep us locked into codependency...

As we unlock our authenticity over the coming months, it will become easier to move from a space of intrinsic confidence rather than from one of arrogance that is dependent on external validation, which only existed within the realm of codependency in the first place!

**NEW MOON 17° LIBRA - SAT OCT 10 - 8:50AM PDT**

This weekend's New Moon in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries while also forming a sextile to Jupiter in Leo as Venus (ruler of Libra) joins Mercury in Scorpio while squaring both Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius.

We're laying a new foundation for our relational lives that is aligned with our sovereign boundaries rather than with our old codependent attachments and agreements which will initiate the process of ensuring that our expression is authentic rather than performative, which won't be complete until late Spring 2027.

Of course, this cannot happen without a total overhaul of any toxic attachments and agreements that we may still be harboring within us and which remain the habitual default mode of our emotional operations...

Change can be challenging in itself, and a comprehensive restructuring of how we operate in the world based on a foundation of sovereignty rather than on one of codependence will undoubtedly lead to internal resistance which may FEEL impossible to overcome!

And yet, like with the seasons, when it's time it's time and a conscious surrender to the process will provide us with far more benefit than an adherence to stubborn resistance.

This week, an opposition between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius as well as an opposition between the Sun in Libra and Saturn in Aries are building toward next weekend's New Moon in Libra as Mercury joins retrograde Venus in Scorpio and as Mars sextiles Uranus in Gemini.

Some internal epiphanies may arise for us this week as we 'sink' deeply into our psyches and we experience ourselves more clearly noticing those behaviors of ours that are linked to hidden toxic agreements and attachments that no longer resonate with where we are headed.

This may be both shocking and potentially liberating, and yet, it may be difficult to untangle ourselves from the resistance to what is enlightening us to make much needed aligned changes that are more appropriate for our evolution at the same time...

If there was ever a time to act boldly 'out of character' relative to the expectations of others but in a way that is actually TRULY aligned with the parts of ourselves that we may have kept hidden and 'locked away', this may just be that time!

This brief brush with our authentic expression may also be just what we require in order to lay the blueprint for the foundation of our evolving relational selves that initiates with this the Libra New Moon and which will grow through spring 2027.

Venus is now officially retrograde in Scorpio ♏️ as Mercury has now entered the shadow zone for its upcoming retrograde later in the month.

There's an opportunity for DEEP introspection and for acting out of character mid-week leading up to a very foundational New Moon in Libra ♎️ that sets the stage for what needs to be cleared over the coming months to make room for what we are building in the long run!

I saw the movie "Obsession" last night for the first time within hours of Venus turning retrograde in Scorpio ♏️ and it couldn't have been more appropriately timed.

The movie features an initial manipulation of someone's energy followed by that person's obsession in return. Both 'manipulation' and 'obsession' represent unhealed attributes of Venus in Scorpio energy which may be part of some people's personal 'purging' experience over the next couple of months.

It haunted me all night and the uneasiness has lingered into this morning for me as it brought up some personal experiences from over 20 years ago when my boundaries were not as strong. Apparently, some of these experiences had not been fully released. 😓

And, of course, this is the POINT of this Venus retrograde...i.e. to purge out what may be preventing healthy and open 'relating' going forward. Whatever catalyzes our own releases, don't be afraid to DIVE into the experience!

VENUS RETROGRADE - OCT 3-NOV 13

Every ~18 months, Venus appears to move backwards in the sky and the time is traditionally associated with reevaluating relationships, finances and what we value, in general.

The Venus retrograde this fall will be particularly INTENSE as it moves from Scorpio ♏️ (its detriment) back into Libra ♎️ (it's domicile) while forming ongoing aspects through early-mid December including the following:

-Opposite Chiron
-Square Pluto
-Quincunx Uranus
-Quincunx Neptune
-Trine North Node

While Venus retrograded through a similar area of the zodiac in 2010 and 2018, neither of these featured such intense aspects to the outer planets and Chiron as it will this year.

This fall may bring back people or situations into our lives that challenge us to scrutinize any lingering toxic attachments and codependencies as we PURGE what belongs in the past while making room for what we DESERVE on a soul level in alignment with our soul contracts for our sovereignty from here forward!

Heading into the weekend, Mercury in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo while also squaring Pluto in Aquarius as Mars forms a trine to Neptune in Aries and as the Sun in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries.

There's a bit of a confrontational and argumentative buzz going around and it's important to understand, as we dive deep into our own psyches over the next couple of months, that the more 'toxic' agreements within us that we discover and release, the more that our personal 'stances' will transform.

This can lead to temporary internal unrest and disagreement that can be reflected to us through our interactions with others which can make it very tempting to 'blame' others for the experience of discord when they are really just the triggers for what is occurring within us...

Our higher selves are also opening the doorway to transforming what motivates us to take BOLD action towards more proper alignment with healthier internal agreements so that we invest our energy into our highest path rather than the path of our egos that feed off of the old toxic agreements!

With new agreements comes new boundaries and upholding our boundaries as they transform is our sovereign responsibility in spite of any changes that this may create within our outer circles.
