Dr. Gunselman shares more immune system boosters for the season! Great for kids or adults!

What's in your immune system support tool box for back-to-school?
Dr.Gunselman has picked her favorites which you can find in our office!
GÜD for ALL (multivitamin) was made on the goal of creating the highest quality and most active vitamin forms available.
Most vitamins on the market are made with cheap inactive forms of vitamins that aren't able to be utilized by one's body. They are also filled with fillers & binders.
To start the school year with a strong immune system, get the kiddos on a quality multivitamin and focus on foundational daily habits. Ensure children get 9 to 12 hours of sleep, eat colorful whole foods rich in vitamins and zinc, drink plenty of water, and practice frequent handwashing to ward off classroom germs.

The smoke from the wildfires has a hazardous mix of gases, water v***r, and tiny particles. The particles bypass your nose's natural filters and can go deep into your lungs or directly into your bloodstream. They can cause everything from minor throat and eye irritation to severe chest tightness, shortness of breath, and worsened heart or lung conditions.
If you're looking for a good binder, Takesumi (carbonized bamboo charcoal) is an excellent, highly porous binder. It acts like a microscopic sponge that traps toxins and chemicals in your gut before your body can absorb them. It is highly regarded in functional medicine because it contains trace minerals and is often gentler on the digestive tract than standard wood-based activated charcoal. Available at our office!
