Join us for the first annual Mercy Health 5k & Fun Run at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Saturday, October 31, at 9:00am! This community event brings together runners, walkers and families of all ages to help provide access to quality healthcare for our neighbors in need. Participants can choose between a timed 5k or a family-friendly 1-mile fun run by registering through the QR code below. All proceeds directly support Mercy Health Clinic, a ministry of North Wake.

Mercy Health Clinic has an immediate need for volunteers to set up the clinic before it opens. We need help setting up the clinic at 4:00pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. It takes about an hour for set up. This allows our volunteer team to hit the ground running when patient visits start at 6:00pm!

In November, Executive Director, Jason Burgess had the opportunity to speak to a group of medical students at Florida State University about Mercy Health Clinic of North Wake & Dr. Don Zust and Kristen White P.A. joined via zoom to answer student’s questions about the clinic.

This was a great opportunity to educate the next generation of physicians about the work and ministry of Mercy Health Clinic of North Wake, and it served as an encouragement to the students to live out their faith in the medical field.🩺❤️‍🩹

Last month, Mercy Health Clinic of North Wake celebrated 1 year of service to our community!

Here are some exciting stats since opening our doors!
-We completed more than 70 patient appointments, including new patients, follow-ups, and nutritional education
-The medical providers have written 97 prescriptions at no charge to patients
-We have 35 active volunteers who have served more than 800 clinic service hours❤️🩺

We are still in need of more volunteers!

The clinic is open and seeing patients tonight! This is the last clinic of 2023, until the New Year. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and all your prayers to help bring Mercy Health Clinic to fruition!

It was special to not only use my nursing skills, but also share the love of Jesus in word and action by meeting healthcare needs in our community.
