This past weekend we wrapped up our Spring Nia Art of Sensation Somatic Movement training! So much fun! Two weekends of dance, movement, learning and somatic exploration!

We're getting ready for our favorite class this weekend!
Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath
4:45–6:00 PM

This is truly an all levels class that everybody can enjoy, and most of all do!
Yoga:
Restorative yoga uses blankets, blocks, and supported postures to help your nervous system actually unwind. Not stretch further. Not push harder. Just release.
Sound bath:
While you rest, a live sound bath fills the space, crystal and brass bowls, chimes, tones that move through the room and help your body settle.

This class is slow, grounding, and genuinely restoring.
No experience needed. No effort required.
Rest is not a luxury. It's what makes everything else possible.

Lately I have been feeling less calm.
More stressed.
I don't want to, and most of the time I am not even aware of the shallowness of my breath, or the tightness in my shoulders, but it's there.
Thankfully, I have this wonderful practice and the best part is that I get to share it with you!
Our monthly Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath is one of my favorite classes -- as not only do our student feel better when the class is over. But I do too!
