Join us for a day of fun this Sat, May 30th, at 17 Friendship Rd, Waldoboro. Starting (promptly) at 11am I offer a free introductory Qigong class in my space on the Lower Level. From noon-4pm explore each floor during our building scavenger hunt. Visit Waldoboro’s four new businesses: Day Boat Cafe, New Leaf Plant Shop, Holmes + Hudson Collective , , as you gather answers to the clues. Once complete, add your ticket to the raffle for a chance to win a basket full of goodies worth $300.

During my Dragon’s Way Qigong® classes I will teach you, along 10 Wu Ming Qigong movements, how to eat food for healing. Each food has a healing signature or essence, that offers our body a chance to rebalance and strengthen itself.

We will focus on warm, cooked food to support and nurture our digestive systems. Food will become your powerful ally in creating and maintaining wellness.

Come and learn how to understand your food cravings and how to honor them every season. The next 6 week program starts on May 11th, Monday at 6pm.

Qigong is an ancient healing practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the principles of the Tao. There are thousands of Qigong systems, each with its own unique approach. I have been practicing Wu Ming Qigong since 2000, a system whose origins date back to Lao Tzu and Zhuangzi.

Wu Ming Qigong teaches you to access your body’s innate ability to heal itself through a series of movements. Along with improved health, the Wu Ming system helps cultivate awareness of the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit.

The term “Wu Ming” means “no name.” It refers to the universal state that existed before the creation of heaven and earth—a state with no form, existing before time, space and matter. According to ancient teachings, the moment something is named or labeled, it becomes limited. Wu Ming is infinite in its potential.
