I did a thing today. I kept it quiet. Quietly prepped and flew under the radar and then hopped on a plane to Minnesota to compete in the OCB Natural Viking Pro Bodybuilding Competition. Battled with my body every damn day. I quit at least 4 times in my head. Thankful to my Hubbyger who does his best to keep me out of my head and is my ride or die. My Coach Lisa Ehrlich Spitzer who's with me every step of the way and my Posing & Stage Presentation Coach TJ Johnson who finds the best angles to showcase the hard work and pours into me. These are my Top 3 who pour into me continually but my support network is huge and I'm blessed to have loving support from family, clients and friends. This doesn't get easier. You just get smarter, more strategic and determined. I refuse to get beat by ME! OCB Natural Viking Minnesota Pro Figure is a wrap. 5th place. 1st Pro Show of 2025 done.

I spent the last 2 days judging competitors and Coaching a competitor at OCB Conquer. As a Masters and Open Figure Pro myself, I get totally excited to see the 50+ competitors on stage. Congrats to this young lady who killed the stage yesterday at 70 years young. The Masters competitors are growing and showing up and out. I respect all for going through the process to compete because it does require discipline and consistency to do what we do but as women when we hit the eras of menopause, there's another level of challenges we face. So kudos to the Masters level competitors who are stepping on stage and older women who are just grinding through to be healthy and fit. It's not easy but it's definitely doable and worth it.

As Coaches and Trainers we have to be a lot of things. In self reflection while working out today I thought about conversations I've had with current and previous clients. I thought about previous clients and their well being and also realized some things. I am very direct in my approach to health and fitness but also very good at what I do.

I'M NOT
A coddler
An uncaring person
Accepting of excuses
The person who will tell you what you want to hear versus what you need to hear
Going to let you quit on yourself if I can help it
Going to expect less of you than I know what you're capable of
Going to waste my time nor yours

I AM
Going to be direct and educate you
Going to care about your health and fitness probably more than you've ever experienced or do yourself
Going to push you and pour into you
Going to hold you accountable
Going to build up your confidence and lift you up
Going to cheer you on whether you're my client or not
Going to give you side eye

I've touched and changed a lot of lives in my 30+ years of doing this. I truly enjoy what I do. Some days are harder than others.

My Coaching style isn't everyone's cup of tea and that's OK. Don't mistake my directness for arrogance or uncaring. I won't apologize for that when my goal is to help you live longer and if my approach to doing so bothers you but it works, I'm okay with that. Too many people have gone through their lives skating by with their health and having folks tell them they're fine the way they are. I'm not them. If you can do better, I'm going to tell you.

I am and I'm not a lot of things but I'm ok with them all. ❤️

Dear Potential Clients, Once I contact you and inform you that a slot is open, you have 48 hours to confirm with payment. After that time, the slot is offered up to someone else. You can not be upset that a slot is no longer available after a week. Business is fluid, not stagnate, and availability changes quickly. For current clients, if you don't have a paid session on the books, your slot is open to book by any paying clients. The only reserved slot is a paid slot.

With that being said....I'm fully booked again. If you have put yourself on my waitlist for training/coaching, I will contact you as soon as slots open up. Remember you have 48 hours to confirm. That confirmation time is firm.

Inboxing me for information regarding health and fitness that I spend hours formulating and programming for paying clients is a no-go. You get 1 question and no follow-up to the follow-up. If you need more info, pay the consultation fee. My time and knowledge is valuable. Enough of the "what if and if I" scenarios.

It's that time for recertification for 3 of my certs plus CPR/AED. A love/hate relationship, but I don't play about it. It's definitely not cheap, but it's a necessity, and given the length of my days and client load; there will be some long nights. 🙄 If you look me up, you'll find me certified and legit in all that I do, which is why I'm not negotiating my prices based on session length and what anyone is comfortable paying me. The price is the price.
