It's !
Invest in your peace. Sometimes paying for what supports your mental health is worth every penny.
For the longest time, this has pretty much been my only paid subscription app for several years. I started out meditating with Headspace a short time, then tried Calm.
I love the variety, the sleep stories, daily meditations, collections focused on specific needs, and so much more.
You can usually have a free trial of the Premium subscription for seven days, so try it out!
The sleep stories alone are worth it for many people - they're narrated by soothing voices and designed to help you drift off peacefully.
There are meditations for anxiety, stress, focus, gratitude, and just about anything else you might need in the moment. The daily meditation changes every day, so there's always something fresh.
If you're serious about making meditation a consistent practice, having a paid app like Calm can be the accountability and variety you need.
A bit pricey for the year, but it has wonderful features if you're really looking to change your diet and way of healthful eating.
Scanning barcodes instead of entering manually saves time, being able to see what foods you eat are highest in carbs, fat, etc. is helpful to make the changes you're looking for, and TONS of other features that aren't available in the free version.
If you're able to splurge, go for it!
Premium allows you to track specific nutrients more easily, set different macronutrient goals for different days (like if you're carb cycling), and get more detailed reports on your eating patterns.
If you're serious about optimizing your nutrition and have specific health goals, the Premium version gives you the tools to really dial it in. The free version is still excellent, but if nutrition is a major focus for you right now, the upgrade can be worth the investment in your health.
