GARRETT MITCHELL IS GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!

And the Milwaukee Brewers superstar is doing it all with Type 1 Diabetes. Diagnosed at the age of nine, Garrett Mitchell never let his diagnosis or circumstances derail his dreams of playing college or professional baseball. The 28 year old has been a massive part of Milwaukee’s success this postseason, scoring multiple home runs in the NLCS and made a ridiculous catch at the wall to clinch the NLDS against the Padres last week.

The T1D community is incredibly proud of Garrett and his perseverance and can’t wait to cheer the Brewers on to their first World Series win! ⚾️💙
