CARE Flight CARE Flight is a “DBA” for Med-Trans Corporation (Med-Trans), an FAA Part 135 certificate holder and operator.

Accordingly, all transportation by air that is done by CARE Flight is, in fact, done by Med-Trans. All CARE Flight aircraft and flights are under the operational control of Med-Trans, and all CARE Flight operations are conducted under Med-Trans’ operations specifications (OpSpecs). Med-Trans has responsibility for ensuring all CARE Flight aircraft are airworthy and are in compliance with its FAA-a

pproved inspection/maintenance program. Med-Trans has specified the conditions under which flight may be operated. All CARE Flight flight crewmembers assigned to a flight by Med-Trans are qualified, and have been trained under Med-Trans’ approved training program

🚁 A huge shoutout to CARE Flight and their awesome crew for assisting Hampton County EMS with the fly-out of a suspected stroke patient!

When minutes matter, so do the providers, the decisions being made, and the transportation needed to get patients to the right level of care. In time-sensitive emergencies like a suspected stroke, every part of the response matters.

We’re grateful for partnerships like CARE Flight that help us continue providing the best possible care for our patients and our community.
