CARE Flight CARE Flight is a “DBA” for Med-Trans Corporation (Med-Trans), an FAA Part 135 certificate holder and operator.

Accordingly, all transportation by air that is done by CARE Flight is, in fact, done by Med-Trans. All CARE Flight aircraft and flights are under the operational control of Med-Trans, and all CARE Flight operations are conducted under Med-Trans’ operations specifications (OpSpecs). Med-Trans has responsibility for ensuring all CARE Flight aircraft are airworthy and are in compliance with its FAA-approved inspection/maintenance program. Med-Trans has specified the conditions under which flight may be operated. All CARE Flight flight crewmembers assigned to a flight by Med-Trans are qualified, and have been trained under Med-Trans’ approved training program

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, healthcare professionals, service members, and everyday citizens who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
