☀️🌴 Aloha!! 🌴☀️
Annual BBQ…LUAU STYLE!!
Friday was our big community event where we had Luau Hawaiian themed food, music and FUN. Residents, families, staff, community partners and friends were all there. We also enjoyed sno cones, cotton candy and funnel cake. Everyone had a great time. Big thank you to all the staff, volunteers and friends who helped make it a success. The photos and smiles on the residents faces tell it all. Looking forward to next years BBQ already!! 🏖️🐚🌺

Emerald Care was proud to support Wapato Police Department’s National Night Out on August 18!

We were honored to present a donation check to help support the event and join our community for an evening of connection, fun and engagement with the officers who work hard to keep Wapato safe. 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

We’re grateful for our local law enforcement and proud to stand alongside them!

They did it!!
Congratulations to Emerald Cares newest Nursing Assistant Certified graduates! Friday July 31st Emerald Care held the pinning ceremony graduation for 8 amazing students. We are all incredibly proud of each and every graduate. A special thank you to all the families and friends who were there for them along the way and were able to join us on this day of celebration. Thank you to the program leadership team who helped make this journey for them possible. On behalf of all residents, staff and Emerald Care community, congratulations to all the grads - the healthcare field is blessed to have you!!

🚐 Calling All Automotive A/C Detectives! 🔎❄️

We have a mystery to solve!

Our big Emerald Care Nursing & Rehab transport bus has an A/C problem that just won't quit. We’re a non-profit nursing home in Wapato and we’re calling all A/C detectives for help.

Know an automotive A/C expert who's great at diagnosing the tough stuff? We'd love to hear from you! We need someone who knows automotive A/C mechanics and can come here and tell us what the A/C in the back of the bus needs to work properly. We’ve spent time and money taking it to various local shops but it still blows hot air. We can even take it to someone who can diagnose the problem. We will gladly pay for the parts to fix it. If you or someone you know can help let us know.

The transport bus is a 2012 Ford Econoline E450 transport vehicle that is wheel chair accessible and seats 14 people. It’s one of our most used vehicles for taking residents to community events, outings and summer adventures like music in the park. We will include photo’s of the transport bus and the A/C unit at the center of the mystery.

Oh my! What a great day! Pony Pal visits from Pegasus Project! We just love it when Bash and Sephi visit us!

We even had another visit from Wapato royalty ! (They did the beautiful mane braids)

Did you know that Pegasus Project provides free visits to care centers. They are a 501c3 like us and rely on donations and fundraising! Keep them in mind when thinking of a good cause!
We really appreciate their annual visit and it really does make our day!
