Happy Tuesday!

Happy National Coffee Day! Residents enjoyed the coffee bar. They were offered fresh coffee and creamer of their choice. Some residents took advantage of this and tried new creamers. Ms. Victory and Loretta enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.

During Healthcare Food Service Workers Week, we’re celebrating our dedicated Food Service Team and the important role they play in our residents’ daily lives.

This year’s theme, “Nourishing the Future: Health, Heart & Hospitality,” highlights the many ways our Food Service Team contributes to the experience of our residents. Food is more than nourishment. It can bring comfort, familiarity, connection, and a little reminder of home.

Every day, our team works hard to prepare meals our residents can enjoy, accommodate individual needs, and make mealtimes something to look forward to. From our chefs and cooks to our culinary aides and everyone behind the scenes, there is a lot of care and teamwork that goes into every meal. Thank you to our Food Service Team for the pride, consistency, and care you bring to your work each day. We appreciate everything you do for our residents, our center, and community!

Happy Family Friday!

Piney Grove Baptist Church comes out every fourth Thursday to volunteer for bingo. Not only do they volunteer their time, they also bring great bingo prizes. Our residents love snacks and stuffed animals. We are very grateful they chose our facility to volunteer their time and resources. They are greatly appreciated!

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

We had great participation with our Alzheimer's Walk. Staff and residents were eager to get outside to show their support and walk for the cause. Purple flooded the building. Staff and residents wrote names of their friends and family members that have been affected by Alzheimer's. We hope to make this event bigger and better with each passing year.

Happy Tuesday!

Mrs. Bell and Ms. Cook worked hard on putting together this masterpiece. They enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee and chatted while they worked on this beautiful puzzle. Then, we placed it in the hall to give others a chance to enjoy this amazing puzzle. The ladies loved seeing staff and other residents stop and show interest in the puzzle. It gave a sense of accomplishment.

Happy Sunday!

Staff and residents showed up and showed out for "College Colors Day". Everyone was so eager and happy to represent their college. We love days like this! It gives residents and staff a chance to show pride and support for their college of choice.
