At Heart of Georgia Hospice, we are proud to be the only independent nonprofit hospice in the Middle Georgia area.

Heart of Georgia Hospice the only independent, non-profit, Faith-based ministry Hospice program in the Middle Georgia Area serving people of all faiths and beliefs since 1984. We offer comprehensive hospice services to support our patients, their families, and the community in meaningful and compassionate ways. My Story:
This unique program captures the life stories of our terminally-ill patients

on digital audio, as told in their own words. These recordings become cherished keepsakes, offering families the chance to forever hear their loved one’s voice and personal reflections. Casserole Ministry:
We provide meals to patients and families in need of extra support, especially for those without a church or community network. This is just one of the many ways we care for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Camp WINGS:
Each year, we host Camp WINGS, a free bereavement camp for children ages 6-17 who have lost a loved one. This special camp offers a safe space for healing, growth, and connection with peers who share similar experiences. Annual Memorial Service:
In December, we hold a touching Memorial Service to remember and honor the loved ones of those who have been part of our journey. This is a time for families to gather, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those we’ve cared for. Thrift Store:
Our Thrift Store, located on Watson Blvd behind the old Chick-fil-A in Warner Robins, provides critical support to our mission. Every purchase helps ensure we can continue offering free services to our patients and their families. Your contributions make a difference, as we never send a bill to our patients. We proudly serve Houston, Macon-Bibb, Bleckley, Crawford, Dooly, Macon, Peach, Pulaski, Taylor, and Twiggs counties, providing compassionate, high-quality care where it’s needed most. Every summer, Camp WINGS opens its arms to children who are carrying something no child should have to carry alone — the loss of someone they love. This free annual grief retreat for children in grades 1 through 8 has been a lifeline for Middle Georgia families since 2001, giving kids a safe space to grieve, heal, and find joy again alongside others who truly understand.

It takes a village to make Camp WINGS happen — and that village is YOU. Whether you've volunteered at camp, donated in the past, or are just now hearing about us for the first time, there's a place for you in this mission.

We've put together an Amazon Wishlist to make supporting camp as easy as possible. Every item on the list goes directly toward creating a healing, hope-filled weekend for grieving children in our community. No contribution is too small — every single item makes a difference.

Life has a way of moving faster than we expect. The people we love deserve more than our good intentions.

World Caring Day is a beautiful reminder to slow down and pour into the relationships that matter most. Make the call you've been putting off. Show up. Sit together a little longer. Say the thing you've been meaning to say.

At Heart of Georgia Hospice, we see every day how much those small moments mean to patients, families, and everyone in between. Presence is a gift that never goes unnoticed.

Eighty-two years ago today, thousands of young men left their homes, crossed an ocean, and ran toward danger so that future generations could live in freedom. Many of them never came home. The ones who did carried the weight of that day for the rest of their lives.

On this D-Day anniversary, we pause to honor every soldier who served at Normandy and every veteran who has ever answered the call. Their courage reminds us what it means to give everything for something greater than yourself.

At Heart of Georgia Hospice, we have the deep privilege of walking alongside veterans and their families during life's most sacred chapter. It is not lost on us that the men and women we care for are often the same generation who shaped the course of history. We do not take that lightly.

To our veterans, our military families, and our Middle Georgia community: thank you. We remember, and we are grateful.
