A Walmart employee in Ohio worked for the company for 19 years. Employee of the Month multiple times. Never a serious write up.
He got hospitalized due to a health emergency, came back to work still not fully recovered, and with 10 minutes left in his shift they called him into the office and let him go.
Two years before his retirement.
His daughter said he was so excited to finally spend time with his grandchildren.
Walmart's response? Silence.
After 19 years, is this how loyalty gets repaid?
