SUMMER READY
My style of body contouring is more natural or conservative. I do these procedures awake and with locally-infused anesthesia. Because I do them like this, I cannot be as aggressive as a doctor could be with a patient under general anesthesia.
My results look more natural, and the recovery, down-time, and risks are much less.
VASER-assisted liposuction with Renuvion tissue contraction (skin tightening).
Fun fact: if somebody just needs tissue contraction, like with weight loss, they are still going to get VASER-assisted liposuction because I have to prep the area VASER prior to tightening with Renuvion (and not necessarily remove any fat).
These procedures are very customizable and pricing is based on that customization.
And remember, sometimes a good gym routine doesn't always tighten your skin.

I harvested the fat from this patient’s thighs. If you have been following me, I often say that thigh fat transfers the best to the breast and here’s why:
💥Thigh fat predominantly has a higher proportion of large, lipid-rich adipocytes. Breast tissue is also dominated by this same phenotype (same receptor profile, same hormonal sensitivity). When you transfer like to like, integration is smoother and retention is higher.
💥Lower-body fat has high estrogen receptor-alpha (ERα) expression, the same receptor is dominant in breast adipose tissue. This shared hormonal identity means transferred cells “recognize” their new environment and behave appropriately, maintaining volume rather than undergoing cell death or fibrosis.
💥Thigh fat tends to have a richer stromal vascular fraction (SVF) relative to abdominal fat, meaning more regenerative cells per unit volume. Better SVF = faster neovascularization = higher graft survival.
💥Breast tissue is a low-tension, highly compliant environment. Thigh fat has relatively low fibrous septation compared to abdominal fat, so it mechanically integrates without the “gritty” feel or calcification risk you can see with denser donor sites.
I do transfer a lot of abdominal fat, but abdominal fat is more metabolically active, more inflamed, and more prone to lipolysis under caloric deficit. It survives, but long-term retention tends to be inferior and more variable.
Obviously we can harvest from an area you would want to diminish, but these are the conversations that we would have when planning out your procedure.

How does Aveli work?
Aveli allows us to precisely target the fibrous septae beneath the skin tethering down those cellulite dimples.
This addresses cellulite at the root cause and not just on the surface.
The precision of the single-band release with Aveli is partly what limits vascular disruption compared to older subcision techniques. (Again, we do have to use a product in conjunction with Aveli to help prevent the body to "repair" the broken tether.)

IMPROVING CELLULITE
I have been posting lately about using and for cellulite dimples.
This is what cellulite actually looks like under your skin, and why I use combination treatments to correct the dimpling.
Those white bands pulling down from the dermis are fibrous septae. They’re tethered to the fascia (connective tissue) below and they’re under tension. They are literally dragging your skin surface downward and creating the dimples you see on the outside.
Notice the red and blue vessels running alongside them? Cellulite isn’t just a structural problem…it’s also a microvascular one. Poor circulation and lymphatic drainage increase pressure in the fat lobules over time, which accelerates the fibrosis of those bands and makes the tethering worse. (This is also why sometimes cellulite treatment bruises easily).
***This is also why GLP-1 medications can make cellulite more visible, not less. When you lose fat volume rapidly, the bands don’t release, they just have less cushion around them. And as the dermis thins with weight loss due to these medications, the same amount of fibrous septal tension creates a deeper dimple.
So why can’t we just release the bands and call it a day? Well, because our body likes to heal itself. When we just release these bands and don’t do anything else, the body is going to try to reconnect those fibrous bands and blood vessels. Sometimes when this occurs, the bands become tighter and actually make the dimple deeper.
The only way to correct this is to release the bands and then use a “spacer” to help prevent any readhesion.
At Youthology, we use Avéli®, a device that identifies and severs each individual band in real time, in a single session. We then place a structural spacer beneath the released tissue to prevent re-adherence and support the corrected contour long-term. The treatment not only releases the dimple, but supports that depression in realtime.
This is why weight loss, creams, massage, rollers, or lasers can’t fix cellulite.
This is structural body restoration.

Almost the last day of school this year, and minus some hospital setbacks and unwanted medical complications, Delphine continues to get stronger, bigger, and more explorative.
About to turn 9 in a couple months, our little girl is growing up!
