People applying for Social Security Disability benefits often have questions about the process and which conditions may qualify. The Social Security Administration (SSA) provides a list of qualifying conditions in the “Blue Book,” but this list isn’t exhaustive.

In general, any physical or mental condition that significantly limits your ability to work, carry out daily activities, or enjoy life may make you eligible for SSDI benefits. Consulting with an attorney can help you understand your unique situation and guide you through the process.
