Integrative Health & Wellness Associates (IHWA) is hiring! IHWA is a boutique integrative and functional medicine practice founded by a triple board certified MD that is focused on root cause healing. We are seeking an organized and efficient employee with great interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive, engaging personality. Experience in Mac/Apple products and software is a must. Administrative office duties for this position will include answering phones, scheduling, checking patients in and out, health related projects/data collection, working with electronic medical records system, sending out customized lifestyle and nutrition plans, and tracking and posting on the company's social media accounts. It is a great opportunity to gain exposure as to how root cause approaches and individualized nutritional, lifestyle, and functional / ayurvedic medicine approaches can improve health outcomes and help reverse disease processes when combined with traditional allopathic medicine.
Please note that we are only seeking team members who are looking to grow with our practice, who are able to come work at least 3-4 days a week for approximately 20 hours per week (Tues-Friday) to either of our two offices (primarily the Warren office and occasionally the Livingston office).
Job Description/Duties:
- Checking patients in and out
- Scanning
- Scheduling/Confirming appointments
- Interacting with patients, functional medicine laboratories, and vendors via email, phone, portal, or in person
- Placing orders online
- Inventory Management / Excel Spreadsheets
- Working with Electronic Medical Records, Scheduling Systems, and Practice Management Software
- Social Media expertise
(ie - Facebook/Instagram/Wordpress Blogging/Canva/Twitter/etc.)
- Other Duties as Needed
- Administrative Assistant or Office Manager in a doctor’s office experience is a HUGE PLUS!!
- Availability to work in the main office in Warren NJ (3-4 days/week) and the satellite office at Barnabas Health in Livingston NJ (approximately 1-2days/month) for approximately 3-7 hours per day, 3-4 days per week.
