MS Saved My Life Welcome to my be well kitchen! Pull up a seat and stay awhile. This is my personal journey with real whole foods that nourish the body. I love feeding you inspo!

Personally reversing my MS with food only. LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Hi! My name is Natalie. I am not a tree hugging hippie, I don't live on a farm, I do not have a garden (yet) and I do not have endless amounts of cash. I am not a doctor nor a chef. I am a wife to one amazing man, a proud mother of 3 and co founder of 3 health-centric brands to date. We currently live and play in beautiful norther

n Va. I am a lover of all animals, successful business woman and self taught cook. I am un-apologetically normal, well depending on who you ask. I was diagnosed 7.2.14 lying in the ER unable to walk or talk for 3 weeks. The 2 years prior to my diagnosis had been a major struggle and it was somewhat of a relief to have a diagnosis, as now I have a target in my cross-hairs! MS Saved My Life. My mission is now clear. I have never been a fan of taking medicines as I believe in the healing powers of food. I found Dr. Terry Wahls Protocol and began following the Paleo Plus diet 3 days after diagnosis and have had amazing results thus far. This is my personal journey of healing and reversing my MS with Food. I have since modified what I eat to fit my bodies needs. My goal is to live a toxic free lifestyle from the foods I eat to the products I use. I share what I am eating to inspire you to get back in the kitchen and take hold of your health and well being. This is a positive space of support and laughs centered around beautiful food and healthy living! Whats your story?

Yogurt bowl 🥣 Yes—I enjoy plain organic Greek yogurt. I stir in nut butter, maple, vanilla. Top with whatever I have on hand! One of my favorites is dried goji berries. I usually add flax seed. Fruit faves are apple, berries and kiwi. Mitch loves bananas so added those here.

There was a time when dinner looked like beautiful chaos.
Kids coming in and out of the kitchen. Someone always hungry 10 minutes after I cleaned up. Loud laughter.

And then one day… it quietly changes.

Now it’s dinner for two.
Mitch and I sitting with each other talking about the kids the entire meal anyway. 😂

Tonight was simple and grounding.
A kale caesar with grilled chicken, fresh green beans sautéed in extra virgin olive oil and garlic, candlelight, conversation, and a slower pace I once thought I’d struggle with.

The truth is… every season of life carries its own kind of beauty.

I still miss the noise sometimes. I miss the little faces and busy evenings and full kitchen chairs. But there’s also something really sacred about this quieter chapter too. Less rushing. More savoring.

And honestly? After all these years… I still love feeding the people I love most.

A simple dinner.
A grateful heart.
A life that looks different now — but still very full. 🤍

Farmacy Run 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🌈🍎🍌🥑🥥🫐🥬🥦🥒🍠🧄

Actually I had this delivered from

I love groceries and farmers markets—definitely my live language. However, preserving my energy is always top priority.

Craving all the salads again with the weather warming.

Dinner tonight is what I like to call… elevated chaos 😄

Grilled chicken wings doing their thing, a peas + asparagus + prosciutto situation that feels a little fancy, and a yogurt fruit bowl that said “I’m dessert but also responsible.”

No rules. No macros. No overthinking. Just a hodgepodge of real food that somehow works—and tastes really good.

This is your reminder that meals don’t have to match… they just have to nourish ✨

This is what “fast food” looks like for me now 🤍

A burger in a bowl… but make it healing.

Crisp lettuce + cabbage
Juicy tomato + red onion
Creamy avocado
Tangy, probiotic-rich pickles (always)
Golden baby potatoes
Perfectly browned burger

And the dressing… a little nostalgic, a little upgraded:
ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickle juice, salt + pepper, garlic + onion powder

It tastes like the old version of me…
but it feels like the version of me that chose to heal.

This is the shift no one talks about—
you don’t have to give up the foods you love.
You just learn how to rebuild them in a way your body understands.

Simple. Satisfying. Nourishing.

This is how MS saved my life 🤍

Hi hi 👋 I took a small hiatus from social for a bit. Sometimes the noise gets to be too much and I can’t hear myself!

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about accountability.

Not in a moralizing way.
In a quiet, collective one.

We are responsible for what we put out into the world.
The images we circulate.
The standards we normalize.
The lifestyles we present as effortless or essential.

None of it exists in a vacuum.

Consumerism has become so entwined with identity that the line between need and excess feels increasingly blurred.

What began as self-expression has quietly morphed into self-replication.
The same silhouettes.
The same products.
The same language.

Trends moving so fast they barely have time to mean anything before they’re replaced.

We’re not just buying things anymore.
We’re becoming them.

I notice it in myself.
When I feel camouflaged.
When I sense I’m molding into something generic.
Something dictated.

I react.
Not dramatically.
But deliberately.
A small act of resistance.

A recalibration.
Because I’d rather be uncomfortable, questioning, and consciously out of step than a perfectly styled echo of whatever is trending this week.

Balance matters.
Discernment matters.

We don’t need to reject beauty, ambition, or desire.
But we do need to ask why.
Why this?
Why now?
And who does it really serve?

It’s better to be thoughtful, individual, and slightly out of fashion than effortlessly aligned with something you never chose in the first place.

I’d rather be misaligned than mass-produced.✌️

Don’t worry, I’ve been eating! I just haven’t been posting what I’m eating. Just over here doing my life! I’ve been feeling so great that my business Love + Be Well by Natalie really needs my attention after this past 1.5 yrs of hitting pause on my life. Thank the lord everything kept on spinning with me hardly able to think. This is where working with your husband comes in super handy❤️
Anywho, made Mitch his favorite burger in a bowl tonight and boy did it put a smile on his face. He’s been a bit down because it’s been so cold and snowy here in Va. he’s definitely a coastal person.
I loaded this bowl with roasted broccoli, sautéed mushrooms and garlic, egg, red onion, tomatoes, blue cheese, and my special sauce (mayo, ketchup, dill pickle, vinegar, onion and garlic powder).

How are you guys? Is is freezing where you are? I’ve been hitting the tanning bed a few times a week to stay well myself.

Expecting a snowstorm ❄️this weekend, so of course that calls for a big pot of chili!
I sprinkle with my rawmesean instead of cheese and organic greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

Quesion is: do you put beans 🫘 in your chili or not?

Sometimes I don’t but did today along with lentils.
