Keep your family safe this season by following the AAP's vital water safety rules!
Drowning can happen in seconds, and only in a few inches of water, so active supervision is #1. Keep infants within arm's reach and stay off your phone. Ensure your pool is secured with a 4-foot, self latching fence, and always use U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets instead of inflatable toys.

While swim lessons are great, they don't replace a watchful eye or knowing CPR, so stay alert and never let anyone swim alone. Let's prevent accidents and keep the water fun for everyone!
