Miller's Health Systems owns and operates a number of nursing homes and assisted living communities in the state of Indiana.

We'd like to extend our gratitude to everyone who came together Wednesday to help make the 27th Annual Miller's Charity Classic Golf Outing a success.

This fundraising event works to give support to the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Alzheimer's Association. The Miller’s Charity Classic is only possible with the assistance of our gracious sponsors, participating teams, and the many volunteers it takes to make the day great.

The winning team was Insight Drug Abuse Testing, followed closely by Kirkwood Law, LLC and Falcon Carpet of Indiana.

Again, thank you to our supporting sponsors and to all of the businesses who sponsored holes and donated raffle prizes. Our Premier Sponsor was Forvis Mazars. Gold Sponsor was Johnson Memorial Hospital. Silver Sponsors were Gordon's Food Service, Innoserv, US Chemical, and In Touch Pharmaceuticals. Bronze Sponsors were Remodel Health and Gentell.

Congratulations, BJ, on 30 Years of Service!

BJ DeCola is celebrating 30 years of service with Miller’s Health Systems.

BJ began his career with Miller’s in 1996 as an Administrator-in-Training at our Portage facility. During the first 18 months of his career, BJ took on assignments as an Assistant Administrator in Hobart, New Carlisle, and Plymouth.

In 1998, BJ was promoted to Administrator at our Wabash location and later served in leadership roles as an Administrator in Walkerton and Plymouth. After 23 years of faithfully serving our patients, families, and employees, BJ was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2019.

Throughout his career, BJ has demonstrated what it means to be a true servant leader. His dedication and commitment have made a positive impact on our residents, families, and employees. We at MHS are grateful for the leadership BJ has provided to Miller’s Health Systems over the past three decades.

Our Consultant Dietitian, Cindy Courtright, had a special birthday recently! 🎊🎉 We celebrated at Miller’s Merry Manor - Walkerton with cake and gifts. Happy Birthday, Cindy!

Miller’s Health Systems celebrated their 26th annual Miller’s Charity Classic at The Trophy Club. We had over 25 teams compete this year on a beautiful, sunny day! ⛳️ We look forward to this event each year to help us fundraise for Indiana University’s Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center and The Alzheimer’s Association.

We swung and putted our way through 18 holes with our winning team being Lake City Bank. In second was Falcon Carpet of Indiana and in third was Insight Drug Abuse Testing.

A huge thank you to our Premier sponsor, Forvis Mazars, our Gold sponsor, Johnson Memorial Health, and our Silver sponsors, Biotech Xray, Cintas, Gordon Food Service, Indiana Health Care Association and Falcon Carpet of Indiana. We also extend a thank you to the many businesses that donated raffle prizes. Congratulations to Karla Ralston for her retirement after 36 years with Miller’s Health Systems. Karla began her career with Miller’s at our Rushville facility as a Nurse. She quickly worked her way up to Director of Nursing, and eventually Quality Assurance Nurse. Karla was known famously throughout our company for teaching several CNA and QMA classes for each facility.

Karla was a mentor to many, and we wish her all the best in her much earned retirement! Please comment below and share a special memory you have with Karla to celebrate her years of service! 🫶
