While not official everywhere, a blue bucket often signifies that a trick-or-treater is autistic.

It means: They might not say "Trick or Treat." They might not make eye contact. They might be an older teenager/adult.
Please give them candy and kindness just the same.

Scratchy tags, masks that block vision, and tight fabrics are a sensory nightmare.

If they want to trick-or-treat in their favorite pajamas or a comfortable t-shirt, let them. The joy is in the experience, not the outfit.
