When you sponsor a Magical Meadows event, you never know where your logo will be seen! In this case, our 2026 Cowboy Canter 5K sponsors are on display for everyone in Gatlinburg to see as Mr. Michael enjoys a fall break vacation recharging with his family!

Halloween fun should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability!

📆 Mark your calendars and join us at The Magical Meadows on Saturday, October 24 from 2–4 p.m. for a FREE, family and sensory-friendly Trunk-or-Treat created especially for individuals with disabilities and their families or caregivers. Group homes and disability service providers are welcome as long as staffing supervision is provided!

We know that traditional Halloween activities aren't always easy for individuals with physical, cognitive, sensory, or emotional challenges. Crowds can be overwhelming. Accessibility can be difficult. And sometimes, as individuals with disabilities get older, there are fewer opportunities to simply dress up, get some candy and enjoy being a kid.

We want this afternoon to be different!

Whether you're 5 or 55, if dressing up and going trick-or-treating brings you joy, you belong here. There is no such thing as being "too old" to participate. Come as you are, participate in whatever way works best for you, and have fun!

🍬 TRUNK-OR-TREAT
We'll have decorated vehicles throughout the property handing out Halloween goodies. We encourage those participating to have gluten-free and nut-free options available so even more of our friends can enjoy the fun.

🚗 WE NEED YOU TO HELP MAKE THE MAGIC!
We're inviting individuals, families, businesses, churches, organizations, clubs, first responders and anyone else in our community to decorate a vehicle, come out to The Magical Meadows and hand out treats!

Go all out with a theme or keep it simple. The important part is helping us create a fun and welcoming Halloween experience for individuals of all ages and abilities.

If you'd like to bring a vehicle and hand out treats, we recommend bringing 500–1,000 pieces of candy or other goodies, including gluten-free and nut-free options when possible.

You can text us with questions or simply let us know you're planning to bring a vehicle and participate. No advance registration is required, though. If you decide at the last minute that you want to join us, just show up the day of the event!

📸 FALL FAMILY PHOTO OP
We're also setting up our horse carriage with straw bales and fall decorations to create a special photo opportunity for our participants, families and caregivers. Gather everyone together and capture a memory from the afternoon! Additional fall photo opportunities will also be available as desired.

And caregivers and family members, this afternoon is for you too. Dress up. Get in the pictures. Grab some candy. Be silly. Be a kid again alongside the people you love.

Our hope is to create an afternoon where families don't have to wonder whether they'll be accommodated for, whether someone is too old to trick-or-treat, or whether their loved one will fit in. You already do and always will here at The Magical Meadows. ❤️

We’re dreaming about what comes next at The Magical Meadows. ❤️ But before we finalize the details, we need to hear from the families this project is intended to serve!

If you are a person with a physical, intellectual, developmental, or emotional disability, or you love or care for someone with a disability, we’re asking you to take about 5 minutes to complete this important survey about the "Adams Center for Well-Being & Belonging."

The "Adams Center for Well-being & Belonging" is a proposed renovation of our original indoor arena and central building into a fully accessible recreation, fitness, therapy, and community center designed with people of all abilities in mind.

The vision includes a multi use gym for basketball, volleyball, pickleball and adaptive recreation, a workout room, accessible locker rooms, a sensory room, additional therapy spaces, and opportunities to bring new services and resources to our community.

Your feedback will directly help shape the final plans for the Adams Center and help us build a stronger case for support as we approach key funders and community partners.

Our goal isn’t to duplicate what already exists. It’s to listen, identify the gaps, and help fill them with a truly unique and transformational place that you can call home.

From beautiful sunsets to early morning sunrises, life “on the farm” is 24/7. Early morning farrier means out in the pasture catching horses at 6:15 am….but the beauty you see in these moments is priceless. May you oh have an amazing day!

What a great day on the golf course for the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Annual Charity Golf Outing!

Thank you so much to the chamber for selecting The Magical Meadows as this year’s beneficiary! And thank you to all of the sponsors and participants who showed up to make it so special!

Last but not least, we want to thank Julia Moore with First Federal Savings Bank for covering our team fee so Mr. Michael could participate in the outing as well! (He decided to keep his legs covered for this one 😅)
