We are having some beautiful local corn for supper with BBQ chicken...husband comes in and laughs cause I am saving the corn silk!
Corn silk acts as a mild "water pill" to increase urine output and flush out excess fluid. Soothes and protects the urinary tract and bladder, helping clear out bacteria during infections. It also may help stimulate insulin production and lower blood sugar levels. It also helps calm swelling and irritation in tissues, joints, and the urinary system. Ill dry the silk and will make a tea with it coming this fall! Mother Nature provides so much beautiful healing support.💚💚
