Our client is seeking Board Certified Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to conduct Medical Disability Compensation Examinations and prepare Independent Medical Opinions.
This is evaluation-focused clinical work with highly competitive hourly compensation and flexible scheduling - no ongoing patient management.

COMPENSATION
- $100 -$110 per hour PAs/NPs
- Independent Contractor (1099)

SCHEDULE
- 4 to 8-hour clinical sessions
- Weekday and weekend opportunities available
- Work approximately 2–5 days per week, based on your availability
- Ideal for moonlighting alongside residency or an existing practice

Physicians licensed in any of the following states:
Florida, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and California.

We are seeking Board Certified/ Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physicians for a unique opportunity to provide virtual specialty care to Veterans through a major VA healthcare system.

This is an opportunity to practice Sleep Medicine remotely while helping expand access to specialized care for Veterans. Physicians may work remotely from any state where they maintain an active, unrestricted medical license.

The Opportunity:
This contract will provide approximately 1.3 FTE coverage, or roughly 2,700 labor hours annually, through a team of qualified Sleep Medicine Physicians.

Physicians will provide remote clinical services that may include:

Evaluation and management of sleep disorders through synchronous telehealth
Interpretation of sleep studies
Electronic consultations
Remote physiologic and therapeutic monitoring
Communication of diagnostic and treatment results
Ongoing management of patients with sleep-related conditions
Clinical documentation and completion of required electronic medical records
Collaboration with other healthcare professionals involved in Veteran care

Services will be provided virtually, allowing physicians to practice remotely while supporting a large Veterans healthcare population.

Qualified candidates must have:

MD/DO
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Sleep Medicine
Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. state
Active AHA BLS certification
Ability to obtain and maintain required VA credentialing and privileging
Experience evaluating and managing patients with sleep disorders
Comfort practicing independently in a virtual/telehealth environment
Strong communication and documentation skills

Palliative care experience is helpful but not required — clinicians with strong communication and serious-illness judgment from oncology, critical care, hospital medicine, geriatrics, SNF/LTC, primary care, or home-based care should consider this role!
A structured ramp into palliative care: pair with experienced specialists and grow through mentorship, clinical backup, and data-guided coaching.
A real interdisciplinary team: physicians, APPs, social work, care coordination, and operational support.

NP/PA Role:
Provide palliative care consultations and follow-up visits across skilled nursing settings, including short-stay subacute/rehab patients with recent hospitalizations, high symptom burden, or complex goals-of-care needs, as well as ongoing management of long-term care residents.
Deliver palliative assessments and follow-up visits in SNFs and community settings.
-Manage complex symptoms for patients with advanced illness and chronic disease.
Lead goals-of-care and advance care planning conversations with patients and families, coordinating with partner home health and/or hospice agencies if and when appropriate.
Partner with the interdisciplinary team and facility staff, primary care, and hospice.
Support transition planning across the SNF stay – from admission after hospitalization through discharge home, return to long-term care, rehospitalization decisions, hospice transition, or other next-site-of-care planning.
Complete timely documentation aligned with clinical, billing, and quality standards.
Travel locally within County, with mileage reimbursement and clinical/EMR support provided.
