Dr. McGarey along with Drs. Daniero and Torrecillas guided the residents through a transnasal esophagoscopy (TNE) lab this morning! This type of hands-on training is critical for high quality care of patients with swallowing difficulty, globus, and reflux concerns.

✨Drs. Daniero, McGarey, and Torrecillas had the privilege of attending the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings (COSM), reconnecting with mentors, friends, colleagues, and leaders in otolaryngology. They presented a range of research and celebrated recent milestones—Dr. McGarey was inducted as a Triological Society Fellow, and Dr. Torrecillas was inducted into the American Laryngological Association as a post-graduate member. Grateful for the community, collaboration, and continued growth in this incredible community. ✨

Another amazing strobe course in the books! Every year we keep growing. It's such a pleasure to host SLPs from all over the country and share our expertise; and we love learning from our participants too. Special thanks to the grad student volunteers from both Radford and UVA and .a for her guest lecture on high-speed laryngeal imaging. Can't wait to do it all again next year!
