The film follows the incredible true-life journey of Manoj, a boy from the dacoit-infested valleys of Chambal who fails his 12th-grade exams due to a sudden crackdown on cheating. Driven by a newfound sense of honesty, he moves to Delhi with nothing but a dream to become an IPS officer. Living in extreme poverty and working odd jobs like cleaning toilets, Manoj must battle a rigged system and his own limitations to pull off the ultimate “Restart” in life.
Curiosity: To keep the film authentic, the director filmed in actual UPSC coaching hubs like Mukherjee Nagar and used real students as extras to capture the genuine “do- or-die” atmosphere of the exams.
