The greatest love story nobody knows 🤍

On the one-year anniversary of my father’s passing, it feels both appropriate and important to finally tell this story.

This carousel shares a journey almost no one knows about.
Not friends. Not extended family.
Not even my own siblings.

It’s the love story between my father and me—
a story of distance, healing, understanding, and ultimately, love.

In getting to know my father, I came to understand myself.
So much of who I am—the way I think, respond, protect myself, and love—
is reflected in him.
In the life he lived, the experiences that shaped him,
and the choices he made growing up.

If you are the child of an absent father and you still have the opportunity to reconnect,
I would say this: don’t wait.
Take the chance. Take the risk. Choose love.

You may learn more about yourself than you ever imagined.
And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see
that love prevails above all.

I’m sharing this now because it’s a story—and a tribute to love—that deserves to be told. 🤍

This Christmas, I’m holding close the true meaning of the season: love.

As I gather with friends and family, I’m reminded to cherish the moments with those by my side, hold space for those far away, and honor the memories of those no longer here. Each one has touched my life in a special way, filling it with light, joy, and lessons I’ll carry forever.

This season, I’m celebrating the blessings of love, connection, and giving—the heart of what Christmas is all about.
