The AANP 2027 call for speakers is now open!

Every root system tells a story of connection, and in July 2027, naturopathic medicine's brightest minds will gather in the shadow of the Rockies to tell theirs. AANP 2027 invites physicians, researchers, educators, and innovators to share the knowledge that moves the profession forward. Whether you're presenting groundbreaking clinical research, a hands-on workshop that reshapes how attendees practice, or the case study that changes how we think about whole-person care, your voice belongs on this stage.

Boise's landscape, where mountain streams converge into something stronger, is the perfect backdrop for a convention built on the idea that we grow deepest when we grow together. Submit your abstract today, and help shape three days that will inspire physicians nationwide to return home ready to practice better, think bigger, and care more fully.

☀️🌽 A little Convention magic… outside the Convention walls! 🌽☀️

Saturday brought the perfect opportunity for AANP attendees to step away from the sessions, stretch our legs, soak up the sunshine, and experience a little taste of Madison, Wisconsin. 💛

A trip to the iconic farmers market at the State Capitol was just what we needed — beautiful weather, fresh air, incredible local vendors, colorful produce, and plenty of smiles along the way. 🥕🍓🌻

From catching up with colleagues while strolling the streets to discovering the amazing sights, flavors, and energy of Madison, these moments reminded us that connection happens everywhere — not just in the meeting rooms.

The AANP is proud to celebrate Bastyr alumna Wendy Weber, ND, PhD, MPH, on her appointment as Director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) at the National Institutes of Health.

Since joining NIH in 2009, Dr. Weber has built an impressive career as a scientist and research leader, advancing rigorous research in complementary and integrative health.

Congratulations, Dr. Weber, on this incredible achievement! Please join us in celebrating and congratulating her on this well-deserved appointment.

NEWS: Wendy Weber, N.D., Ph.D., has been selected to serve as director of NIH’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).

Dr. Weber will now oversee NCCIH’s $170 million budget which supports research that explores the fundamental science, usefulness, and safety of complementary/integrative health approaches and their roles in improving health.
Dr. Weber has served in a variety of roles since joining NIH in 2009. These include stints as acting NCCIH deputy director and acting director of the center’s extramural research division among others.

Her strategic management of clinical trials has driven real-world advancements in non-addictive pain management, such as acupuncture and mindfulness-based stress reduction.

Saturday's Farm to Pharm Trivia at the AANP Convention was an absolute blast, with none other than Dr. Eric Yarnell keeping the energy high as our fantastic emcee! 🙌

Let’s recap AANP 2026!!

For an unforgettable few days in Madison, WI, our profession came together. This year's theme, One Gathering. Endless Impact came to life in countless ways throughout those days, from insightful sessions and hands-on workshops to meaningful conversations in the exhibit hall and unforgettable moments shared at the Gala, NMSA Cup, Alumni Events, Standard Process tour, and on the shores of Lake Mendota.

Each experience served as a reminder that the impact of our profession extends far beyond any one meeting. It lives in the connections we build, the knowledge we share, and the collective commitment we bring to advancing naturopathic medicine.

One Gathering. Endless Impact. And a community that continues to inspire what comes next.
