Not all grief comes from death. Sometimes we grieve relationships, lost opportunities, the people we used to be, the communities we once knew, or the life we thought we would have.

And sometimes, we need somewhere to release it all.

Through storytelling, sound, guided reflection, and community witnessing, we will explore what it means to hold grief and be held through it.

Presented by Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáibrá Foundation | Alejaibra House

So many thing have been birthed out of this little house in Southeast DC (Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation | Legendary House of Opulence formally The Madison House) I couldn’t let the month of September close without acknowledging Black Girl Ventures and all the work and faith my friend Omi Bell put in to make it happen.

It was an honor to be in the room and to witness this homcoming and I ain’t have to cook no food to attend. But trust, I would do it all over again with no question.

How does this resonate with you?

This is the sound of the crystal harps vibration you don’t just hear, but often feel.

Crystal instruments create rich, sustained tones that can support deep relaxation, intentional breathing, meditation, grounding, and a shift out of the constant mental noise of the day.

Sometimes the body responds to sound before the mind has words for what it’s experiencing.

So don’t overthink it.

Listen. Feel.

How does this resonate with you? What did you notice in your body?

“It’s still resonating…”
