Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health integrates clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This clinical integration establishes a robust system o

f care for all District residents and in particular, communities East of the River. The $434.4 million full-service hospital includes 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transports.

We're grateful to our hospital leadership for participating in the School Daze Back-to-School Event at Sycamore & Oak and sharing important health resources with local families. A special shoutout to our Pediatric ED team for spearheading a successful backpack and school supply drive that helped students head back to school ready to learn.

With the school year right around the corner, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center was proud to be a partner in this year’s Daze Back-to-School Event at Sycamore & Oak to support local students. Led by Kimberlee Daniels, CEO and our Pediatric Emergency Department team, we helped fill hundreds of backpacks (Take a look at the before-and-after pictures of the empty table and the table filled with full backpacks) with school supplies to help young scholars start the year ready to learn and succeed. 📚🎒 Wishing all students, teachers, and families a healthy and successful school year!

Team members from Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center were proud to participate in the 19th Annual Community Day, hosted by the Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at the Deanwood Community Center.

The event brought together more than 500 residents from Wards 5, 7 and 8, providing free health and wellness services, lunches, groceries, toiletries, backpacks and school supplies to support local families.

Representing Cedar Hill, Nicole Parker, Director of Nursing and Zoe Robinson, Community Liaison, connected with community members, shared information about hospital services and distributed free first aid kits.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers and community partners who made this impactful day possible. Together, we're helping improve access to care and supporting the health and well-being of our neighbors.
