The update reexamines evidence comparing LAAO and oral anticoagulation for stroke prevention in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation following publication of the OPTION, CHAMPION-AF, and CLOSURE-AF trials.

The cardiovascular community is invited to review the draft guidelines and data supplement and provide feedback before final publication.
