These approximately four-hour, faculty-led sessions are built around practical experience with methods, devices, equipment, and techniques that can be applied to pain research and clinical practice.

Available workshops cover knowledge mobilization, neuropathic pain diagnosis, pain processing in older adults, communication skills, and non-invasive neuromodulation.

In this week’s Featured Image, Ceniza-Bordallo et al. illustrate the association between chronic pain and vigorous physical activity (VPA) depending on the frequency of psychological symptoms. Overall, stratified analyses indicate that regular engagement in VPA was associated with lower odds of chronic back pain among adolescents reporting moderate or high levels of psychological symptoms but not among those with low symptom frequency.
