Three years ago today, Alleanza was honored to assist partner groups in welcoming our Afghan allies to the US through the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program. Shortly after, in mid-August 2021, Kabul fell to the Taliban. Alleanza played a crucial role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Defense (DOD), International SOS, and other key partners in the ensuing Operation Allies Welcome. With over 125 medical personnel, mobile dental units, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and other services, our efforts spanned five locations in three states, ensuring comprehensive medical care and support for the incoming Afghan evacuees. Alleanza's contributions were vital in addressing their immediate healthcare needs, providing essential medical supplies and skilled professionals at all levels to administer care. We continue to support this operation by conducting pre-employment medical evaluations for Afghan translators tasked to the Department of State in Germany and Qatar.
